"This hotel is really terrible, and I strongly advise all foreign travelers not to choose this place. They deliberately assign rooms with excessive noise to foreign guests. My room was right next to their kitchen's exhaust duct, and there was noise exceeding 70 decibels from late at night until after 11 p.m., and it started again around 5 a.m. The entire room was shaking, making it impossible to sleep. When I complained to the staff, they just gave me a brief, insincere apology. But in reality, they are aware of the problem with this room and are deliberately assigning it to foreigners."

"This was my third visit to Baguio. My first and second stays were at SotoGrande Baguio, but this time I decided to try something different. For both, my main criterion was an outdoor heated pool. While the pool at SotoGrande was somewhat usable, the one at Newtown Plaza felt more like a pool meant to be looked at from the restaurant. It's not really for swimming, or at least it seems a bit difficult to use. Newtown Plaza seems to have more history and their buffet is quite popular. However, since I really want to use a pool even in cold Baguio, I might just go back to SotoGrande next time!"

"Okay. Let's start with the positives: Hotel Veniz is accessible, has parking, friendly staff, good amenities like a TV, WiFi (not so fast 8mbps max), air conditioning and a refrigerator. They have buffet breakfast! Negatives: Coffee cups are not thoroughly cleaned. It's advisable that you bring your own paper cups. Second, shower is too small. When we were there, the elevator frequently broke but this is okay because I'm super into fitness. Anyway I guess this is par for the course because the rates are super low for a room with buffet breakfast and a great location. Overall 3/5 for me."

"The only thing that I enjoyed is the proximity, sobrang lapit sa SM Baguio and session road. Pero the hostel itself is not clean, luma na yung mga gamit and the smell as well hindi maganda. The staff are nice and always smiling and nilipat kami sa ibang room. Mas malinis compared sa first room, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best."

"Very affordable and clean transient in Baguio City! Super sulit ng stay namin dito. Maraming rooms at kumpleto ang amenities—from the living room, bedrooms, hanggang kitchen. Highly recommended lalo na para sa mga big families or groups na naghahanap ng affordable pero spacious na matutuluyan. Napakabait at accommodating din ng owner at housekeeper, kaya mas naging comfortable ang stay namin. May parking space rin para sa mga may private vehicles, which is very convenient. Accessible din ang location dahil karamihan ng tourist attractions ay nasa 10-15 minutes drive lang. Overall, sobrang satisfied kami sa stay namin. Clean, budget-friendly, and worth it. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
