Enjoyed our stay thoroughly, everything was excellent like the service, the room and amenities etc, except maybe the breakfast was a little basic for a hotel like this. Free taxi ride to and fro the hotel (1x each). It's a short walk to the shopping street.

Destination resort. Amazing views from the top of the hill. Beautiful and well tended garden and greenery on the property. The maitre’d of the restaurant runs it like a well oiled machine. Conprehensive wine list including highly rated Japanese reds. Service staff are attentive and bi/tri lingual. Michelin star level service. Chef is impeccable too.

The hotel has great location and it’s very new and spacious. We stayed on the day of fireworks and we can see the fireworks closely in the balcony. However, there is no front reception and no luggage storage before and after check in.

Easily accessible - right in front of the beachwalk. However parking is not on-site but on a separate building. If you are driving, try to drop your luggages off in front of the hotel before driving into the carpark in the next hotel.

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

Very good hotel with private onsen in room. Price is reasonable. Service from reception (Nepalese with good English ) is very good, helping whenever they can.

The basement carpark has only 6 lots for the size of hotel.. So we hv to park further down in the open car park. The room we stayed has toilet but no bath or shower which make it inconvenient if you don't go for the onsen The Onsen is nice anf clean. Breakfast is too simple for the price of ¥29,500 we paid. The room is big and clean. Overall is not value for money

Room was spacious. Nice traditional style design. My room only has a toilet. No private bath. If you don’t mind the public bath with the onsen, go for it. Amazing view of the sea. Downside is the hill + stairs climbing if you come at a timing outside of the transport service.
