"The location of the property is excellent, and the staff provided good service throughout our stay. The room we booked was very spacious and well-suited for our group of 8 people. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely recommend and consider booking again in the future. However, I would like to highlight an area for improvement. There was a persistent foul smell coming from below the sink in our room. While the staff promptly attended to the issue when it was first reported, my request to use an air or room freshener to neutralize the odor was not addressed. Although the smell was bearable since we spent most of our time outside, it did detract from the overall experience, especially considering the price we paid for the accommodation."

"I booked this for my parents. My mom celebrated her birthday and we opt yo have them relax at Baguio and fortunately we choose Microtel. Very accomodating even for our request for the personal birthday greetings (bouquet and cake). My parents were very happy and they really feel the warm welcome from the crew. Location is very accesible also to Victory liner. Very recommendable!! For the next Baguio Trip, Microtel will be our top choice"

"Great accommodation and great food. Not satisfied with Front Office service. Key card was not working upon checkin, that was supposed to be ready and working bfore the guests arrived right? And we haven’t tried the pool bcause it was raining that day and on the next day they didn’t allowed us to use it as they put chlorine to clean it and that took more than 3hrs so no chance of using it as it was checkout time already😕"

"The hotel was clean and room was spacious. Oh i love the pillows.. so soft and fluffy. Staffs are very corteous and helpful. Definitely, I will book here again. Highly recommended."

"This hotel has some good points: 1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests. 2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area. 3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool. However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas: 1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience. 2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved. 3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted. 4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service. We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff."

"Great Stay – Highly Recommend! I had a great experience staying at grand sierra. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was also fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to staying here again!"

"There are a few points would like to bring up 1. The ceiling fan in the room is functional, However, the wind is totally not strong enough, so turning it on means not turning it on. 2. No YouTube/Netflix function on TV. Staying other hotels in Baguio which the said functions are available as well. But here no. 3. The hangers in wardrobe are so inconvenient, It can only be hung in the closet and cannot be taken away. Sometime want to hang clothes at the balcony but have no way. 4. Suggest to have USB socket ports at the bed side would be more convenient 5. Seems no individual button could control the light of baloncy. Seems the light is connected to some of the lights in room. 6. Front desk are friendly but can be more professional. Approached to the reception but no one acknowledged. We have to tell them ”check in” proactively 7. Prior arrival, sent the message to hotel for the room inquire, the first they replied, but afterwards, no replied from hotel anymore. 8. Breakfast not much selection. And many staffs at the counter 9. Shower water pressure not strong enough and hot water not hot enough. And no water refill after make up room service. Even so, base on the hotel location and the mountain view, will consider staying again in the future. Hope the management will review the comments and hopefully will see some improvements by then. "My stay at Casa Vallejo Hotel was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the hotel's location is truly a highlight. Situated in a charming area, it offers easy access to local attractions and eateries, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The building itself has a lot of character, with a historic feel that adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, Casa Vallejo Hotel has potential. With some upgrades in terms of Wi-Fi, bathroom maintenance, and latest check-out offerings, it could significantly improve the guest experience. While it's a decent place to stay for a short visit, there's room for growth to make it truly outstanding."
