"The hotel room was confortable, sufficient for what we needed, which was simply a place to spend the night. The food wasn't that good. But considering the price, it was acceptable. Overal the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Not my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across."

"what a great little hotel. A fantastic, helpful, welcoming group of staff. Lovely location. Nice terrace for evening sunsets, bring your own drinks, lovely rooftop views. Comfortable bedding. Kitchen for guest use. All in all perfect for my solo trip, I felt very comfortable here. And Faro is just lovely!"

"Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!  Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior  Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.  Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches  Faro has my ♡"

"Social events were brilliant! Staff very friendly and the hostel had a very social atmosphere. I liked that the rooms had privacy curtains. Everything was clean. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. It was a bit noisy at night but from people outside - not the fault of the hostel. It was also a bit hot in the room but reception offered to help with any AC issues."

"Okey budget hotel. stayed here at two different occasions. Rooms were clean and nice. elevator had some jerky movements almost felt unsafe. had a door out to a tiny balcony one night, looked liked someone had tried to break the door open. so the door did not shut properly, and gave zero soundproofing. was a quite a lot of noise from the street tru out the night. Breakfast was good. Okey taken price and location into consideration. I would stay there again. good bed and clean place. The two rooms had different bath room layouts, one room had a spacious shower, the other a tiny."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed by its central location – wherever you’re heading in Faro, it’s generally no more than a six-minute walk. It’s ideal for exploring the city on foot. The standout feature for me was the rooftop restaurant and bar. The views over the sea are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset – a perfect spot to unwind with a drink. Breakfast was another highlight: a fantastic spread with a huge variety of options, well presented and regularly replenished. Rooms are modern, spacious, and well designed, offering a comfortable stay. The gym looked well equipped, though I didn’t use it during my visit. Service was fine – polite and efficient, but very much in line with what I’ve come to expect in Portugal: functional, with no one particularly going out of their way. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, modern hotel with a great location, excellent breakfast, and memorable views."

"Hotel is in excellent location, in city centre. Outdoor hotel pool is small but the indoor pool with spa facilities is very nice. Breakfast is average with not a very wide spread. Staff service is good."

"Habe das Hotel für eine Nacht genutzt, da ich spät abends in Faro gelandet bin. Das Hotel ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Liegt nur ein paar Meter vom Flughafen entfernt. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, sauber und ruhig gelegen (Hinterhof). Ich würde erneut einen Aufenthalt dort buchen."
