"Some of the facilities are a bit dated but are clean in general. There are a lot of things to do inside. The pool are good. The food/pasta/pizza in Kuomintang are great. The drinks in Terraza are great. The activities like Badminton, basketball, pickleball, etc are free. I wish the bikes are free as well or has lower price. Would definitely come back again."

"Heard and read some fantastic reviews about The Phillip Anne resort… here is ours. Positives: Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic comfortable pillows. Negatives: Rain in rooms and onto the beds of the family room. Showers are abysmal. Extremely poor water pressure, water not much more than a drip & stinks, heating works but is luke warm, other room is cold… towels are like sand paper, no small towels provided or available. Had better showers at Oodnadatta. Ants in all rooms and cockroaches in our family room, toilet blocked on arrival and doesn’t flush, limited toilet paper. WIFi provided all around the resort, however speed is similar to 90’s dialup speeds. Spent more time watching the spinning wheel of death on Netflix than anything else. They need to spend less money on spying security cameras and spend more on guest wifi. Beds are cheap and bedding is poor with only a sheet and thin quilt cover provided. Flies and mosquitoes in both rooms. Food menu looks good at first glance, but portion size is tiny, share plates are not enough to share, food was raw and undercooked… fresh orange juice is Tang. Please fix the toilet seats and secure them properly. We booked for 7 nights, but only stayed 1 before shifting elsewhere. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Cockroach and Ants Raining in the room on bed Water, no pressure, dirty and stinks"

"It has good weather and far from busy streets. It has nice location though it was quite far and we had a hard time looking for the place since there was a rerouting due to closed roads. The place is but i was disappointed because it has poor connection and i immediately reported it to the front desk but until we checked we were not attended. The food is ok but nothing special."

Blue Ribbon Dive Resort

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Blue Ribbon Dive Resort. We had a sea view room, very clean, even if the room is not new, it is consistent with the photos and comfortable. The instantaneous water heater was new: completely functional. The restaurant was very good (local, Asian and international cuisine) for a reasonable price. A drinking water dispenser in a can was available. The resort staff were helpful and polite. When we booked (direct contact by email), everything went very well, the discussion was easy, as was the organization, even up to our transfer from the airport) On the diving side, the premises are a little old but functional (more than sufficient for us). A dry room dedicated to cameras with compressed air to dry equipment is a real plus. The guides were very friendly, they showed us lots of things. We have never formed a group of more than 4 divers. In general, there were 6 to 8 clients on the boat for 2 dive masters. The only small downside would be the management of the dive curve, with square dives at 20 m, for heavy air consumers like me, making it difficult to achieve an hour of diving. We did not test the equipment rental because we came equipped. The divemasters were very friendly and very attentive to our desires. Night diving in the port of Anilao is a must do! Thank you to the whole team for this successful stay."

"The whole room is clean. Staff are all well -accomodating. No id policy is good to avoid unwanted guests. Location is great. To step up more ;change old slippers to new ones. use toothpaste in sachet... mini tube toothpaste is too little... use some fragrant air freshners in the room.. change the shower.. it sprinkled too little water which makes bath uncomfortable. Above all, This hotel deserve my 3 .5 stars out of 5."
