"Centrally located and convenient. It's an old hotel with a lot of history; the stained-glass windows are particularly beautiful. However, the cleanliness and maintenance are noticeably lacking. I was quite surprised by how worn out the sofa chair in the room was. On the bright side, the front desk staff was very friendly and enthusiastic."

"I don’t think we’ve met a happier and more engaging host than Justin, who greeted me by name, showed me all the important facilities and information about the motel, and ensured one of the EV chargers was available for our use. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The motel itself is very conveniently located next to the Central Deborah Gold Mine, one of Bendigo’s most famous attractions, and the start of the tourist Tram line. Both get a discount with a code provided by the Motel. Although it’s on a fairly busy road, we were not disturbed by any traffic noise in our room. Overall a great stay and we’ll be back any time we visit Bendigo."

"What a delight to go somewhere that is immaculately clean ( I cleaned motels for years so know what to look for). We had a 2 bedroom apartment even though it was just 2 of us. 1st we noticed the cleanliness, then we spotted the full size fridge ( winner) next on our tour was the bathroom, and yup magic... walk in shower, no clambering over a dodgy bath risking a failed circus act, or feeling like you are showering in a wardrobe. ( excellent) and now the bedroom/s.. a tv in each room, perfect for me as I have severe insomnia..BUT!!!! that 1st night I slept like a baby... the bed? OMG the bed... was the most comfortable one I have slept in for years...and it wasn't just us grinning with delight.. the elderly couple who moved in next door with I think their grandchildren, I wish I had of taped them.. squeals of delight from gran " my god the linen? it's wonderful" the kids " we have a tv in our bedroom".. so no matter your age, mobility, job etc, don't go past this place...please... it is top rate... excellent job Julz and Greg, keep up the great work xx"

"Facilities: After all, it is an old hotel with a good location. There are entertainment and dining areas on the first floor, and the rooms are large. I saw that there were double rooms, but suddenly it was no longer available. It feels strange to have 2 people sleeping in 3 beds Hygiene: It's OK, clean and tidy, but it doesn't feel like it is regularly maintained Environment: Classic, good location, close to the train station, within walking distance Service: There is no front desk reception, and you only need to throw the key into a box when checking out. It is convenient"

"A simple one-nighter. Very well priced facility, particularly thanks to Trip.com. Positioned very close to an event we were attending, and close enough to everything Bendigo has to offer. The motel is definitely old and needs a full refurb. However, my opinion is that I can't see the value in doing this (certainly as the cost would be perhaps more than it's worth), and of course the cost to stay would rise significantly. Frankly, its age didn't bother us as it was well presented, clean, had pretty everything you could want, the TV was nicely setup, the bed comfy, we couldn't have asked for more really. If refurbed, I don't believe the additional cost would work in that I suspect the price would have to double at least, therefore diminishing the attraction of a well priced facility. I give it a tick."

"Our family of four recently enjoyed a weekend getaway in Bendigo, and staying at the Central Deborah Motel made the experience even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners, who took the time to show us around, explain the motel facilities, and recommend some of Bendigo's must see attractions. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. We stayed in a spacious family room that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was immaculately presented, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were stocked with beautiful, luxurious soaps and body washes that added a lovely touch. The location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to Bendigo's top attractions, fantastic restaurants, cafés, and shopping precinct, making it easy to explore everything Bendigo has to offer without needing the car. If you're looking for accommodation that combines exceptional hospitality, comfort, and an unbeatable location, the Central Deborah Motel is an absolute gem. It was the perfect base for our weekend escape, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!"

"I had a great stay at Best Western Crystal Inn. At first, I was told check-in was only after 2pm, but later the staff kindly called me and said I could check in early. That was very helpful! There is free parking on the ground floor, and my room was on the first floor, so it was quiet with no noise from cars. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute drive to the City Centre. The room was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially large and clean. Thank you to the friendly staff for the good service!"
