"A Convenient and Comfortable Retreat There are 4 units in this building. One parking slot per unit is provided at the corner near unit 101. This apartment offers a truly practical and comfortable base for exploring the area. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the basic utensils and cutlery for easy meal prep, and the welcome inclusion of instant slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The microwave was also super handy for quick snacks and reheats. Comfort is well-managed with one air-conditioner that kept the unit at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The washing machine was a huge plus, and we found the designated drying area right above it in the toilet very efficient. The separate dining table was also a nice touch, providing a comfortable space for meals. 2 dryers are outside the building. With two double beds, this unit is well-suited for small groups or families. We also enjoyed being able to link our Netflix account to the TV, which was great for unwinding in the evenings . Things to Note About the Location The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere. While there aren't many eateries directly nearby, there are two convenience stores within easy reach. Do keep in mind that local supermarkets tend to close around 7 PM, so plan accordingly for groceries. We found the area to be quite pleasant for getting around, with not many cars on the road. This makes it particularly fun to explore the town by bicycle, and there are several bicycle rental stores available if you're keen to pedal around."

"I really liked the wild, free-spirited feel. The hot spring town isn't so much close as it is inside the hot spring town (lol). It's great that you can walk to your favorite hot spring even if you've been drinking. What's more, the quality of the spring water in this area is amazing! There are plenty of delicious local ingredients and products at supermarkets and roadside stations, so in a way you can enjoy a luxurious meal to your heart's content. This time we went in winter, so after the sauna we jumped into the deep snow behind the building! It was also great that tourist attractions like the Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls are so close by. Next time, I'd like to bring my pet with me in the summer."

"This seems more like an airbnb that hotel but everything was great! Fully functional apartment, with clean toilets and kitchen! Space is great for a family too! There is a convenience store just a short walk away. Just one down side, if there’s someone staying above you (could be from other host), it gets noisy when they walk around. You can hear all the footsteps. Plus point, no need to carry luggages up and stairs! Oh ya, the entrance is on the side of the house."

"The room is a bit old and has no air conditioning. You can only open the door and turn on the fan to bring the air conditioning from the hall into the room. The tatami mats and quilts are relatively old, but the landlady is very friendly and the 2,000 yen dinner is a great value."
