The Castle Hotel ★★★

📍 Bronllys Rd, Talgarth, Brecon

"It was a very pleasant hotel, nice and quiet when I visited but it is the beginning of the year, didn't see anyone after checking in, amenities were nice and the room was very comfortable and clean. Location is not too far from Brecon, but best drive as it's around 12 miles. Breakfast was good, just help yourself to bits that are there. I would visit again."

"Really lovely and luxurious. Glenn was perfect host. Breakfast was the best ever, quality ingredients, so comfortable and quiet and really close to town centre. So looking forward to a return visit. Weather was kind to us too so enjoyed lovely views from bedroom windows."

The Castle Hotel ★★★
"The hotel owner is very nice, very enthusiastic, and personally entertains me. It is a very humane hotel and worth staying in. There is free parking and there is a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient!"

"What a lucky find! We went on a last minute trip to Brecon without booking to stay, and managed to get in here. The building is 365 years old! We had the last room available, it had a view over the hills in the distance and was very quiet. The bathroom was new and everything was super clean. The owners are very welcoming and their cute dog trix is adorable. Thank you Gail and Gavin, we had a great time and thank you for booking us in for the jazz!!!"
