"I've now stayed at The Maldron twice with one of my mates to a attend a music event over the course of a weekend in Brighton. I spent ages searching hotels that had twin beds only to find hotel after hotel that looked run down or badly reviewed. However, back in 2025 I discovered Maldron, booked it and had an excellent stay. It was clean, modern, well located and provided an excellent breakfast. Fast forward to 2026 and we booked it again. The stay was much the same and the staff were superb. After a long night of drinking and dancing, coming back to the hotel and receiving a friendly welcome from the night shift staff was superb. It wasn't all stiff and corporate but friendly and welcoming. My only gripe this year was that the food quality at breakfast didn't seem to be quite the same as it was last year but other than that, all good. I imagine we'll be back in 2027."

"Great location in Kemptown on a quiet street just a short stroll up from Brighton Pier. They have rooms with balconies and views bit I didn’t mind the deluxe room which was in the basement. Very clean and spacious room with a little seating area at the far end underneath a skylight. Nice clean bathroom with spacious shower. Really worth the price if you don’t mind not having any views. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers spa treatments and massages"

"I really appreciate upgrade to room sea view. But on the night of our stay was very strong wind and omg felt like windows will fall out, we stayed up all night. Room was freezing. In the no when I did check why the wind noise was sooo bad I realised there was a massive gap between window and frame. On the check out girl asked how was my stay and when I said it was just alright, she wasn’t bothered to ask why and skipped to next question. I could point out issue we had but there was a guest in front of me who was talking about the same situation and girl at reception offered her blanket and heater, sounds like it’s on good problem in hotel with windows and stuff can’t be ask to deal with it."

"We had a nice experience in this hotel ..The location is a calm and serene area opposite to the park ..Hence it can be used for a stroll..Incase you are not using a car ,bus connectivity is very good to beach and near by attractions..The room is spacious and we got 3 beds for a family of four and the heater was also provided ..Tehe morning buffet was sumptuous with many options to chose from. Only drawback I felt is with respect to the bathroom ,wish they would have provided a set of shampoos in addition to the shower gel..Also the lock of bathroom was not working properly ,wish they correct it soon..Overall would definitely come back in future ..."
