"The location is superb. It located right at the CBD. Very easy to get around. The service was fast especially the check in process. We arrived early and got check in very fast. We complain about the cleanliness and staff was attentive upon the request we made. The staff were very nice.We got a free upgrade from 13th floor to 21st floor. The downside is that the bedsheet and pillowcase change was very slow and we waited until 11 pm even though we made request before 4 pm. The free buffet is also very average."

"Location is great in the heart of Sunnybank district and best price you can get in the area. Check-in took a bit longer than expected, but not a big deal We have stayed here before and we know the accommodation units are a bit aged, so didn't want to be too picky about it as we liked the convenience of it. However, this time we have to speak out... First thing after entering the room was a Big Welcome from a few big cockroaches!!! Then when we inspected the shower there also had some little ones hanging around!!! I had to physically demolish them all before we can put ourselves to bed. But my wife got put off quite a bit, didn't want to use the shower as it was contaminated by bugs, also felt uneased after getting on to bed, took a while to put her to sleep. So in conclusion, even though the price was cheap, but the quality of the accommodation is not quite acceptable. Don't think we'll return to this place again in the future!"

"Great for convenience close to ferry terminal had everything you could have for a lovely short stay. no toaster in kitchen plus it has a sign stating if you set smoke alarm off you will incur a $1500 fine which is fair enough. I feel like a kitchen without a toaster doesn’t make it a complete kitchen. Also traffic sound comes through both glass doors."

When pulling some of the cabinet, touched sticky stains inside (looks like soft drinks stains) Carpet edges can be edgy and hurt my feet sometimes, need to wear slipper at all times in the room Service wise not really impressive for this price range hotel, staff are friendly yes but shouldn’t expect anything more that will go for extra for customers. Whatever&whenever staff is practically not there, requested for thing or service and never heard back. Breakfast is disappointing, less variety of options, crowded & some doesn’t even tasted good Overall a disappointing stay compared to other W hotels I’ve been to (Osaka, Bangkok & Singapore)."
Emporium Hotel South Bank
"The location is fantastic! It's very close to the train station, bus station, and ferry terminal, and just a 3-minute walk to South Bank Park. Service: I really have to complain about the service. I booked for four nights, and on one of those days, the room wasn't cleaned, even after I specifically reminded the front desk. The cleaning generally was quite sloppy; tea-stained cups weren't replaced, with tea stains clearly visible, and the bathroom faucet was covered in water marks. We were quite surprised to find such service and hygiene standards in a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast is à la carte with limited portions, one Western-style breakfast per person, which isn't really suitable for Chinese palates. We asked the hotel if we could cancel breakfast for the last two days, and they replied that it wasn't an issue for the hotel, but since we booked online, we'd need to coordinate with the third-party booking site. Although Trip.com actively tried to mediate, the hotel still refused. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to Chinese travelers."

"The stay was incredible, down to the food, room and staff service. I, however, will not be returning as I do not wish to pay so much money to fight people over pool space. I shouldn't have to choose between a nice sleep in and utilising the pool (hello 5:45am wake up time to get a spot). The Calile need to manage this better and have a policy in place that allows more guests to access this given the limited room."
