"Overall, I felt that Cadiz was just a quick stopover; I didn't need to stay overnight. After traveling around southern Spain, I noticed the cities all had similar styles – a blend of cultures and religions. This hotel was very popular. When we checked in, they gave us a semi-basement room with a small, high-up window that made it difficult for me, as I have claustrophobia, to breathe. When we asked for a room change, the staff said they were full. Only after I mentioned having difficulty breathing were they moved to a room next to the front desk. We arrived before noon, and we saw other people checking in afterward, and they all had rooms available. Ctrip's hotel booking service is not very user-friendly; please, Ctrip, be more considerate of Chinese travelers."

"Ideally located handy for rail station, port and main square. Spotlessly clean large rooms with big walk in showers, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, safe, and lovely comfy beds!! The staff are lovely! Abel gave us a great recommendation for a really good authentic tapas bar (Arte puro), and we had a great couple of nights - I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in Cadiz!!"

"Beautiful historical property well situated in Plaza Espana in central Cadiz. The small number of rooms are stylishly decorated plus the communal areas, including rooftop pool area, are classy, and feel luxurious. We stayed in room three for four nights. The room has a large comfortable bed and living/kitchen area. Bathroom has walk in shower and whirlpool jacuzzi bath. We felt relaxed and found the accommodation very satisfying, and as described on various websites. The hosts, and owners, Eric and Vittore, are super welcoming and knowledgeable. We found the tourist advice for where is good to visit and eat very useful. We ate at several of the restaurants advised and had a great time. The price for the stay was relatively inexpensive and definitely worth a return visit. Recommended."
