"Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. The staff were very kind and helpful! Even if you don't speak English, you can still communicate (there are Japanese-speaking staff too). The room had small ants, so it might bother some people. However, the bed and bathroom were clean. We arrived early in the morning and were allowed to wait in the guest room until our tour started! I'll definitely stay here again."

The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Their green scheme was a great arrangement, meaning I could get breakfast on 3 mornings which was good. I made use of the laundry room which was very convenient for a small charge."

It's located right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere – Cairns itself is quite small, so you can easily walk to most places. A taxi from the airport to the hotel was around 25 AUD."

"We loved our stay. The location is great. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, markets and the esplanade. The rooms are spacious with nespresso style coffee machines and various teas complimentary in the room. The TV had lots of free on demand movies too. The breakfast was not included in our stay but we dined once and it was great value for what was on offer. I would recommend it and stay again."

"The hotel's location is quite good, about a 6-7 minute walk from Cairns Wharf, and directly opposite the farmer's market. However, the service attitude was very average. When I asked for a few extra hangers, they refused. This is also one of the few hotels where I've seen staff members not greet guests, which shows a certain level of indifference, although the restaurant staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel facilities are very outdated. The air conditioning could only be set to a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, and the air it blew out wasn't refreshing at all. The room was stuffy and humid, though the hallway was quite cool..."
