"So, my wife and I are regular stayers at one of the often very good Travelodge's around the Country. Our three night stay at the Camberley in Surrey, Next to Camberley Railway Station, was an ideal location, with walking distance, for a weekend visit to a friends Barber Que. This occasion proved to be a complete disaster! As it is a hot summer, there was no room air conditioning, you could NOT open the window more than three inches as the window is fixed by a secure wire, to stop you from jumping out, you suffocate instead. Even the toilet fan extractor did not work, so the room was filled with shower steam and poo smell. You only have a noisy fan whining away all night just moving stale air around. The room was small which was okay if ventilated properly. Needless to say it was awful. We did tell the reception staff but they could not do anything. They did offer another hotel, but that meant additional expense and travel in a town we did not know. We came by train. The idea of the secure widow is plain daft. You have to be over 18 to book the room!! There were plenty of other high buildings around if I wanted to jump off, but no, we have to near suffocate instead, I suppose it is less messy. - Let's open the damned windows for goodness sake!! I do hope this is a one off as I like Travelodges and we have been to dozens now. - Oh, and another thing. Can anyone else get their app to work on their phones?? mine is totally useless, so I have deleted it, which is a shame as I'd like TL to know just how many times we have stayed."

"My partner and I stayed for a few days so we could attend a wedding. Before we got there, I contacted the company to enquire about the parking. As I'm heavily pregnant, we wanted to reserve parking so I didn't have to carry luggage too far. The lady I spoke to was more than helpful, she even went the extra mile to book us onto the first floor so I didn't have to take the stairs just in case the lift had broken. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only tiny thing it was missing was an oven mitt or a tea towel to get things out of the oven. The location was excellent with all amenities in walking distance and you can't tell you're by a main road when the windows were closed. It was very quiet. We would 100% recommend to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"It was great value, particularly when you factored in the meal deals for breakfast and dinner. At this price point, it certainly exceeds expectations. The staff were all smiling and happy to help. Particular credit should be given to the manager, Chris, who seemed to be doing everything and was committed to ensuring everyone had a great stay."

"The hotel manager was abusive and ******. Started shouting at us when checking out because we were a bit late in checking out due to disruption by housekeeping. I have never witnessed such foul language and abuse by someone who is management in hospitality. This person should not be allowed to work in such environments. I have had to lodge complaints everywhere as she made me feel very threatened for no reason."

"Lovely B&B, nice place, easy to find. Delicious coffee 😍. We are going to stay there again in the future. It was better than some hotels which we visited in the past. It was warth the price which we paid."
