"This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel in Cambrils, and once again, the experience has been excellent. The service at both reception and the restaurant is exceptional; they are always friendly and attentive. The location is very good, with all amenities nearby and only a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, making for a very comfortable stay. We also traveled with our dog, and he was very well received from the moment we arrived. It's so nice to find a pet-friendly hotel that doesn't charge extra for pets. We will definitely be back."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic hotel with outstanding beachfront dining We had a wonderful stay at the Estival Centurion Playa and would happily return. The hotel is in a fantastic beachfront location, the rooms are modern, spotless and comfortable, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. What really made our holiday special, though, was the hotel's beachfront restaurant. Sitting right on the beach, it was the perfect place to enjoy lunch while taking in the sea views. A very special thank you goes to Alba and her amazing team. They provided some of the best service we've experienced anywhere. Alba made us feel genuinely welcome every time we visited, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Her warmth, professionalism and attention to detail made every meal feel special. The food was outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented and consistently delicious. Whether it was a relaxed lunch or drinks by the beach, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Alba and the whole team for making our stay so memorable. They are a real credit to the Estival Centurion Playa"

Mas Gallau

"Stayed here two nights and picked Mas Gallau only because it looked slightly better than the typical tourist hotels in Salou. Reality: it has virtually no facilities — no gym, no sauna, nothing. The suite is basic to the point of feeling cheap: stone floor, plastic furniture, and a bathtub with cigarette stains. No walk-in shower — you literally have to climb into the tub.Breakfast is a disaster. No eggs, nothing fresh, just some bread, cereal (cold milk only if you ask), and a couple of basic cold cuts. The Nespresso machine only had decaf capsules left. - however, the lady from the reception was kind enough to bring some Cappuccino.  Yes, it’s €8.50, but for a $200/night hotel that is a pretty low offering.  It also sits right next to the AP7 highway, with one exit door basically opening onto it. Conclusion: overpriced, zero facilities, lousy breakfast — not worth the money."

"After a long journey and a disappointing stay in a hotel in Vienne, France, this was a most welcome experience. All staff from front desk to housekeeping were polite and welcoming and very helpful. The hotel was very clean, our room was lovely with the biggest bed on the planet. Even toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided. The food in the restaurant was perfect with a good choice of dishes. Again the staff were fabulous. We are planning to stay here again on our return trip and really looking forward to another stay here."

Estival ElDorado Resort

"Good facilities, fantastic dinner and breakfast (except for the coffee which was bad) I asked for a double bed and in both rooms they gave us 2 singles…. Bad cleaning, I found a cockroach in the room and at 10 am the cleaner opened the door knocking on both rooms without giving them time to warn that we were inside. That is unacceptable"

"Just returned from our holiday at this hotel. *short transfer from airport. *check in 3pm so had quite a wait as we had taken an early flight, but we were able to leave our luggage and go off for lunch. *our room was a superior with pool view, on floor 3. Spotlessly clean, light and airy, modern. Plenty of storage, safe, large tv, comfortable beds. The bathroom is separated by a glass panel so no privacy, but didn’t bother us. Separate toilet. Lovely size balcony and view of pool and garden. *we stayed half board. Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Lots of choices and food constantly topped up. Catalan style dinner choices, or salads, pasta, pizza etc if preferred. Great puddings! Choice of inside or outside dining. The 8pm meal time was a little late for us, but as this is a traditional Spanish-owned hotel, I understand this is their way. *guests were a mix of mostly Spanish, Danish and British. *staff were wonderful. From housekeeping to bar, to restaurant we could not fault the friendliness and efficiency. Lovely people. Very hard-working but they all seem to love their jobs. Shout out to Amy. *location was spot on. Shops and restaurants and bus stops within a stones throw. Port and promenade just around the corner. Cambrils is wonderful - still a traditional Spanish town, safe and friendly. Local buses to Salou, Reus and Taraggona. *downside - people reserving beds around the pool. Some sat unused all day. A couple of people had two beds each - one in the shade and one in the sun, which they alternated. *another downside for us was the billing for drinks. We would order our drinks with meals, but other than a wine list, if we ordered water, soft drinks or other alcoholic drinks we didn’t know what the cost was. There were no receipts as the hotel is mostly paperless. At the end of the week when the bill was settled it only stated whether you’d bought your drinks from the bar or restaurant but not what you’d bought. Very strange. *beware mosquitos. * Summary - all in all a great family-run hotel in a perfect resort. Loved it and would definitely return."
