"Have stayed at Central Apartments quiet a few times ove the years and it used to be a nice place to stay. This time around it was very disappointing, the shower head was leaking badly and there was mildew on the walls. We went out on saturday morning and whe we returned in the afternoon one of the windows had been removed ( was told it could have fallen due to the wind, really??)anyway I had to refit the window. By the way when I came to the desk to check in I was upgraded to a king room (looked like two double mattresses stuck together ) , so much for the upgrade !!Don't think I'll be staying there again.I did report this at the desk when I checked out and the young man apologised."

"A beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Canberra. The tall ceilings, antique charm, and framed newspaper clippings give it wonderful character. The amenities are great, especially the complimentary coffee machine. That said, the building does have a noticeable musty smell that’s hard to ignore at first, but it comes with the territory of an older property. Overall, a classy and comfortable stay with plenty of charm and history."

"Good budget stay. Friendly and helpful staff; our key wasn't working but the stafd were really friendly and helpful in fixing the issue. There was plenty of parking. The location was out of the main city but not too far from places. The room we were given was spacious. Large smart TV was good to use when relaxing for the nights after days of activities. Small fridge was handy. The bathroom was a little outdated but had what we needed. Standard cleanliness."
