However, we spent 7 nights there without them finding a solution to the elevator problem; it was impossible to call on the 5th floor. We had to take the stairs to the 6th floor or go down to the 4th! Not practical, especially with luggage."

"I used "La Bastide de L'Olivier" as my base to enjoy the Cannes International Film Festival, the Monaco e-Prix, Nice, and other attractions. It's a bit far from Cannes station and the city center (about a 15-minute walk), and located on a hill, but this allowed me to enjoy the quiet of southern France without the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was lovely, with a terrace, jacuzzi, and kitchen, so I could buy ingredients at places like Monoprix and cook my own meals. There were also facilities like a swimming pool and a gazebo on the grounds. While the surrounding nature was abundant, there were surprisingly few insects. Newspapers and magazines like Vanity Fair were also provided free of charge. This was my second stay, and I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity."

"A pet friendly hotel that is not at all. Just because they accept dogs in the facility does not mean that it is a suitable facility. No small usable green area and tiny rooms. Also, at night on our floor it was very noisy; they charged us €6 for a bayles in a grappa glass; the night receptionist was outside smoking and we had to wait because the door was locked from the inside and no one would open it to let us out with the dog (rude receptionist who does not like dogs). They made us pay a deposit for the room (even though we had already paid it in advance) of €116 for one night. The only positive note was the receptionist who was on duty during the day: a smiling, welcoming and professional girl."
