"A highly recommended hotel! It has just opened and the facilities are very new! The point is that I spent a comfortable night in this hotel. The view of the hotel is very good. It should be the highest place in the old city. The view is very wide. Standing on the large terrace, you can overlook the entire old city. The lights at night are very attractive! The dinner at the hotel is a meal with local characteristics that we have eaten in Morocco. From the authentic tagine beef, to the mellow goat milk cheese, to the fresh and delicious vegetable and fruit salad, every dish is full of rich Moroccan flavor, which is memorable. I suggest you try it! In addition, the service of the staff is very commendable. Every staff member is gentle, polite and enthusiastic, making people feel the warmth of home. In terms of the room, it is clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very relaxing and pleasant to live in. Especially the super large terrace, which provides a very good viewing experience and makes our trip more memorable. Overall, this hotel is perfect in terms of scenery, dining, service and accommodation experience. It is highly recommended to friends who come to Chefchaouen for travel!"

"RIAD CHENGLI is definitely beautiful with exotic Moroccan decorated and newly furnished accommodation. It is located just 2 minutes from the gate, Bab El Ain, as the entrance of Medina. It’s also a walkable distance to the nearby attractions, like Spanish Mosque and the castle in Main Square with many groceries and restaurants at the vicinity. The room is very clean and well equipped with shampoo and shower gel in bathroom, in particular the warmth pad in bed which is the most important in cold winter. There is a rooftop terrance with charming view of the whole city and Rif mountain. The host is a Chinese who could speak fluent English and took care of what we need during the stay. The breakfast is a really big portion with various breads, pastries, eggs, cheese, olive and even fried rice. Highly recommended."

"The riad had picturesque views and the breakfast was decent, but there were a lot of wasps and flies. The riad is located on a hill, and we were charged 100 dirhams to help with our luggage, even though we declined. It would have been quite difficult to carry the suitcases up the stairs ourselves. I didn't take pictures of the room, but it was small."

We asked for breakfast on the terrace and were very happy with it; you can choose between a European or Moroccan breakfast."

"I was very satisfied with my stay. Location: You have to get out of the car at the square and carry your luggage up a narrow staircase. It's a challenge, but it's doable for those with good physical strength. The surrounding area is worthy of being called a blue jewel, and is perfect for those who want to see the blue city and take photos. Staff: They communicated a lot and were very kind. They also helped me carry my luggage to the square, even though it was early in the morning. Facilities: The cute furniture is lined up, giving it a Chefchaouen feel. It's clean. There's a great view from the rooftop, and you can see the starry sky. Other: There is a hammam in a separate building. The clean facilities and excellent service were excellent. Thank you very much."
