"This stay was really nice but to pay for spa was disappointing I was only there one night as my husband was in hospital close by so ended up paying 40 for spa in night and in morning and there where lots of people with club membership so wasn’t that relaxing as I was staying at hotel to relax I wouldn’t return the staff where really nice so if you don’t want a spa to relax I would recommend"

"Lovely clean campsite - with the bonus of a heated outdoor pool! 2 great play parks, 2 fishing lakes, tennis courts and a games room. Staff were very friendly and there was a nice cafe with outdoor patio overlooking the lake. Unfortunately the car stops serving at 1.30pm on a Sunday - so that was a bit disappointing and frustrating. But apart from that we had a great time. Nice pub/restaurant a 10 min walk away too. Would definitely recommend it and would go back if in the area."

"Booked with my girlfriend for a 3 day break. We saw the weather was supposed to be really hot so we upgraded to a premier plus room which comes with aircon. Unfortunately the aircon wasn't working properly during our stay, kept turning itself off and wasn't properly blowing cold air, I know it's not the end of the world but it wasn't nice to be out in 32c sun then return to a hot an sweaty room, especially when we had paid extra for it. The staff were really nice and brought us a fan but it's not the same as aircon. They did bring in workers to try and fix but was still broke when we left. The hotel is lovely and the staff are really nice and pleasant, I would definitely recommend as long as the aircon works and it's not too hot. I think we just had bad timing of weather being roasting and aircon not working"

"We stayed overnight at this hotel last weekend and had a great experience. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We also took our puppy with us and I was worried that the dog friendly room may smell but it was immaculate. Really friendly staff! I left a photo of my late dad and the manager Robert promptly posted this to my home. Highly recommend!!"

"This was budget with a capital B. It was not very comfortable and the beds did not seem clean. People were wandering around outside the room at night and it did not feel safe. Facilities in the room such as TV were poor. This is not a guest house I would advise you to stay in."

"Great place to stop for a night as we did twice before. This time we were dissapointed. Mattress cover was stained with wee and blood. Rung the owner who said it had been washed and was quite adamant the mattress cover was fine and said most places have stained covers. He was quite argumentative about it. He eventually sent a cleaner to replace cover. Cleaner was quite apologetic about state of cover. Feel the owner should have apologised rather than lose his rag!!"
