"First time in Chiba, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision. It's a three to five-minute walk from Chiba Station, making getting around super convenient. The Perie mall at Chiba Station is also fantastic for shopping and dining, and it even offers duty-free services. Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained, clean, tidy, and attention to detail is evident. You can choose daily housekeeping or just towel changes. If you opt for just towel changes, the staff will hang a bag with fresh towels on your doorknob and even provide a complimentary bottle of water, which is a nice touch! The front desk on the second floor offers free toiletries, tea bags, and coffee sachets, which is great! The front desk staff and floor attendants are all warm and polite, making for a very pleasant experience. A Japanese male staff member at the front desk, whose name tag read Kudo, even spoke Chinese, which made communication seamless. I have two suggestions: first, it would be perfect if the TV had screen mirroring functionality, and second, the queen-sized mattress has a slight dip in the middle and should probably be replaced."

"The facilities, which just opened in June 2026, are incredibly new and comprehensive. They have everything you could possibly need: a large public bath, cold drinks, snacks, tea, coffee, a coin-operated washing machine, and even a smoking room upstairs! The restaurant connected to the first floor serves as the hotel's breakfast spot. The selection isn't huge compared to what you'd find in China, but it's fine for a two-day stay. For longer stays, you'll find more options at the Lawson convenience store next door. Housekeeping cleans for guests staying three consecutive nights. We were staying for three nights, and since we didn't go out, a staff member came to check on us. The weather was bad that day, with a typhoon and rain, so we ended up hiding in the 14th-floor public bath. An hour later, when we came downstairs, the cleaning staff was still in our room – talk about thorough! 👍 It's super convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation. Currently, Ctrip members get great deals. However, the staff seem to be 'newbies' and appeared strangely nervous around guests. Maybe it's because we're foreigners, but we were speaking Japanese! 😂"

"I chose this hotel specifically because of its long history, and it absolutely lived up to expectations! The lobby, corridors, elevators, and rooms all exude a grand 90s style, and the room doors even retain the old-fashioned key entry. My room also had a walk-out balcony with panoramic city views. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kaihin-Makuhari Station. Around the station, there are many restaurants, and an outlet mall on one side. On the other side of the hotel, there's even a Sushiro. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they offer luggage storage. The only minor drawback is that some of the authentic vintage fixtures, like the faucets, were a bit difficult to use. Also, the hotel follows environmental regulations, so they don't offer full daily room cleaning."

The location was superb with less than 2 minutes walk to Aeon Mall for your shopping and 2 minutes walk to the train station. There is a great Lalaport Mall at Minami-Funabashi Station, 2 stops away. The hotel staffs were polite and friendly. There is a free Drinks machine at the lobby with fantastic UCC coffee and Cocao. The room was spacious, clean and new. Highly recommended to stay.
