"If you book a Saturday at this hotel, you need to include a meal plan. I had a kaiseki dinner, which was excellent. The rooms don't have private bathrooms; there's only a public bath, which was a bit awkward. Other amenities were good, including daily room cleaning and a friendly receptionist. The hotel has a single bath, which costs 1,000 yen."

"The view from the window was nice and we were very comfortable. thank you very much. Everyone at the restaurant was kind. The water is very good. I was looking forward to it when I heard that, and since the river is right next to it, I wanted the body wash in the bath to be made with soap or other products that have less impact on the environment. It was very disappointing that the water that came out of the shower hose in the bathroom and the water that came out of the faucet in the room smelled like PVC from the hose. I think it would be more in line with the times to not have plastic amenities. Everything else was clean and comfortable."

"The hotel is indeed old and the facilities are outdated, but I absolutely loved it. The staff were also very friendly. There's a hot spring and a park right next door, perfect for relaxation. A beautiful, gently flowing river runs in front of the hotel; if you come during cherry blossom season, there's a row of huge cherry trees—absolutely stunning! The price I booked was very expensive; I felt the pricing was unreasonable. The usual prices are generally acceptable. Also, the room only had a toilet, no shower; you have to go to the communal bathroom upstairs, which I absolutely loved 😊"
