"I stayed here with my son and his wife for a celebration. This is a rare inn located right next to Lake Shikotsu. It is a long-established inn, and although it is undeniably old, it has a total of 8 rooms, an open-air bath, and children under 13 years old are not allowed to stay. It is a quiet and relaxing inn. You can spend time looking at Lake Shikotsu from your room and restaurant. There is no large public bath, but there are two private open-air baths. There is a terrace on the lake in front of the inn, and sparkling wine and oolong tea are available for free. After the bath, we cooled off slowly with wine. The food at this inn was the best. It was an Italian course, and everything was delicious, including Hokkaido sea urchin, beef, asparagus, etc. Breakfast was a Japanese meal, and each person was served rice in a pot. This is the best inn for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time."

"It’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in. The reception staff is very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I will come back to stay here again when I have a chance."

"I used this hotel for the first time on the night of the first day of Arashi's concert. I arrived quite late, but they welcomed me with smiles, which put me at ease. It was also incredibly close to the station, which was a great help. When I entered the breakfast room, Arashi's music box tunes were playing as background music. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness. This stay was very short, so I'd like to stay here again for a longer period next time."

"Room only. Single room. The separate bathroom and toilet were great. However, despite being separate, the toilet was far too small. (I'm 180cm tall.) Also, I'm a smoker, but the entire building, including the grounds, is non-smoking, and bringing in cigarette butts is also prohibited. I was told that smoking was only permitted at the 7-Eleven next door. I don't smoke in my room, so it didn't bother me, but I wish there had been at least a designated smoking area within the building."
