"Loved this hostel so much I extended my stay here. Beautiful space with lots of greenery and flowers. Indoor and outdoor shared areas with lots of international and chinese travellers alike all keen to socialise. Table tennis/snooker available too. The extensive menu was reasonably priced and very good quality I ended up eating at the hostel a lot. Would come back here next time I come to Kunming!"

"Perfect location if you are into shopping and eating as this hotel is close to the walking street / old street with shops, malls and unlimited food options. There are permanent food stalls just outside the hotel, making it super convenient if you decide to buy food back to the room to eat. Room was spacious and clean. Love the toiletries and shower head – nice scent and water pressure was just right – truly washes away a day’s tiredness. Breakfast was top notch for me – wide spread, fresh and tasty. Also like that the seating layout / setting was spacious."

Otel iyi bir merkezi bölgede, Nanping Yürüyüş Caddesi alışveriş alanına yakın ve Dongfeng Metro istasyonuna çok uzak değil. Kişi başı ve gün başına ek bir ücret karşılığında iyi bir Uluslararası kahvaltı mevcuttur. Otel personeli yardımsever ve duyarlıydı ve çeviri uygulaması aracılığıyla bizimle iletişim kurabildiler. Orijinal odamızın biraz dumanlı olduğunu fark ettik ve personel hemen bizi yeni bir odaya taşımayı teklif etti."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a truly wonderful stay at FourPoints by Sheraton Kunming City Centre Hotel! ✔️ Halal food paradise at your doorstep – The area is filled with countless halal restaurants, making it extremely convenient for Muslim travelers. Every meal was just a short walk away. (I’ve attached a picture of the famous beef roti stall located just at the hotel doorstep. Can go at 8am, no need to queue) ✔️ Walking distance to Shuncheng Mosque – A beautiful and historic mosque located nearby. It was a blessing to be able to walk there easily for prayers. ✔️ Self-service laundry available – This was such a lifesaver during my trip, especially after exploring Yunnan. Clean clothes without any hassle! The staff were warm and helpful, the room was very comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Kunming. Highly recommended for both families and Muslim travelers looking for convenience and comfort."

"The location is great, close to the city center. The room itself is okay, but the air conditioning stopped working at midnight. I called the front desk, and at first, the staff member asked me to reset it. She told me the air conditioning should be set to heater mode only (it was already getting hot at the end of May), so I reset it, and it worked for about 10 minutes before turning off again. I called the front desk again, and she agreed to come check. When she arrived, she tried a few buttons and claimed the air conditioning was working, but it was obviously unresponsive, no matter what she pressed. There was no sound. I asked her, ”Are you sure it's working? There's no sound, and without the AC, the room is becoming unbearable.” Eventually, she admitted it wasn't working and told me there was nothing she could do and asked me to sleep without AC. At this point, I raised my eyebrow and asked, ”You want me to sleep in this room with no AC and no fan?” Only then did she agree to bring a fan to my room. It was around 1 or 2 a.m. by that time. To make matters worse, she blamed me for the AC malfunction, saying it was because I set it to cooling mode initially. While I understand she might not have been able to fix the AC, her response was quite unacceptable."

"The location is very strategic. Located near shuncheng & nanping street with a lot of halal food available. There's few chagee nearby if you're chagee hunter, souvenir shop just beside the entrance elevator and few mall nearby. Staff is very nice and helpful with your needs. There's laundry area at level 6, with both machine and dryer which is convenient for me. The room itself operate at power saving mode. It will shut down once you get out of your room. There's no key needed to enter the room, just passcode. Its very recommended !"

"We had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Kunming City Centre. The service was excellent, with prompt responses from the front desk and attentive housekeeping staff. The room was well-equipped, even including an ironing board and iron, which was convenient for a business trip too. Though the building is a little old, the facilities are well-maintained. The location is great, just a 10-minute ride or about a 30-minute straightforward walk to Kunming Old Street, which we enjoyed. The shower pressure was strong, the gym had sufficient equipment, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Good location, about 10min walk to the railway station which gives peace of mind that we will reach the station without hiccup. Upgraded our room from Comfy Queen room (28sqm) to Queen room (40sqm). Room was clean and spacious. Room service excellent – they came within minutes when reported that TV remote couldn’t work, or asked for extra amenities. Breakfast exceeded my expectation – quite a wide range of food items, even a live station of noodle soup. We were there at 7.40am and nearly couldn’t get a table; but turnaround was fast as we noticed many ate quite fast and left quickly, probably to catch their train. Only thing to note is the lift – while there were four lifts, two were shared with other hotels and commercial units in the same building hence need to give a bit of waiting time to get into a lift."

"I'd give this hotel 10 stars if I could! On the day before our check in, the staff reached out to us to ensure we would have no problems. It was easy to connect with the hotel on wechat and their responses are very prompt. The setting of the hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are exactly as pictured. The hotel staff was very kind to give us a room upgrade. The facilities are very clean and the bed is comfortable. The room provided everything you could need. The room came with many activities that we could enjoy as well, which included a calligraphy experience, hanfu costume experience and tea experience. Regrettably, we did not get to take part in these as we had other plans, but this was a nice bonus. I do not have pictures of the room but I have attached images of the amazing breakfast I had here. The breakfast options were plentiful and they even check in with you the day before on what you would like to have, so that you do not have to wait long when you have breakfast the next day. The afternoon tea was also a delicious selection of snacks. The hotel also offers goodnight dessert every night which was again, super yummy. Finally, I want to commend the service of this hotel. They gave us such a warm welcome from the moment we entered and were always attentive to our needs. I didn't get the names of the staff who served us specifically, but all of them were 10/10! I highly recommend this hotel. One thing to note, there are no lifts so if accessibility is an issue, do check with the hotel! They have rooms on the first floor too. Truly a beautiful full stop to our trip in Yunnan 🫶💙🩵"
