With full access to the facilities within the hostel as well it made for a very enjoyable visit. "A beautiful little hotel, I think there are only 6 rooms though. All staff were on hand for any queries and help in any way they can. During my stay it was lovely and sunny and they have an outdoor area idea for a while in the sun 😂. If you have any sort of disability and find it difficult to climb stairs this place is probably not for you, no lift in the hotel and all rooms are upstairs, the car park is at the back of the hotel with steps up to the hotel that has a hand rail but the few steps into the hotel doesn’t. I was in room 6, 3 lots of stairs to negotiate but the view was spectacular."

"A fabulous family week at this wonderful location right on the banks of Coniston. We managed a proper Swallows and Amazons adventure, sailing down to Wild Cat (Peel) Island and climbing The Old Man of Coniston. The farm is perfectly placed for all adventures, and we were so well looked after. Fabulous hosts, great breakfasts, an amazing bbq pack and an excellent Sunday roast. We will definitely plan to return!"
