"The room is comfortable, spacious and bright. The bed is especially comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When they learned that 10.5 was the last breakfast, the restaurant manager Cosca (not sure if it is spelled correctly) immediately exempted us from the full breakfast for two on the morning of the 5th. The overall living experience made my husband and I feel at home. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Cork, Ireland, I will stay at River Lee again!"

"I am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home. The employees were quite kind and helpful too. Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into. I will return for sure."

"The breakfast is great, with a buffet and a la carte meals, which is up to the service level of a five-star hotel. The park environment is also very beautiful, and you can park for free, but the interior furnishings are a bit old."

Our room was incredibly spacious and perfectly set up for a family of five. We also have to mention the food; the breakfast spread was excellent each morning, and we really enjoyed our dinners at the restaurant. It is a wonderfully family-friendly hotel, and we highly recommend."
