"My partner and I were assigned a room located at the very far end of the resort—it felt more like a standalone house than part of the main property. While the seclusion might appeal to some, it quickly became a major inconvenience. Upon arrival, we discovered that the room’s telephone was not working, and mobile signal in the area was extremely weak. Because of this, I had to walk 5–8 minutes just to reach the reception and report the issue. I was told that someone from the Engineering team would fix it. Although they attempted to repair it, the phone remained non-functional, and I was assured it would be replaced the following day. Unfortunately, days passed and nothing was ever done. On our fifth day in Coron, we were involved in a motorbike accident and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. We returned to the resort injured and barely able to walk. With the room telephone still not working, I had no choice but to make the long walk to reception again—this time with my arms and legs covered in gauze. To their credit, a staff member did assist me with our food order and even accompanied me back to the room to take our orders from both me and my partner. However, during a separate conversation, I raised my concern about how we could contact the resort in case of emergencies given the lack of mobile signal and the non-functioning telephone. I was then provided with a Viber contact for assistance. What was most disappointing was the lack of urgency and preparedness in addressing a critical issue like the broken telephone—especially considering the room’s distance and poor signal. In situations like ours, even a basic working phone can make a significant difference. The absence of this, combined with the resort’s remote layout, made an already traumatic experience even more difficult. While the place itself is undeniably beautiful, the location and level of service simply did not justify the stay. Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and we would not consider returning."

"Overall, the hotel was okay and the location was great — everything was close and very convenient. However, there are a few things that could be improved, especially regarding cleanliness and room amenities. In our room, we were given shampoo twice, but there was no shower gel or hand soap. We reported it to the reception, and they said someone would come, but unfortunately no one showed up during the next two nights. Additionally, there was almost no storage space or шкафка/closet, which made it difficult to keep our things organized. The room was also very small. With a few improvements in cleanliness and basic amenities, the hotel experience could be much better."

"My girlfriend and I stayed at La Natura Resort for four nights, and it couldn’t have been better. The resort is nestled in the heart of nature and is absolutely beautiful. You might wake up to the sound of roosters in the morning (but that’s just part of the charm in the Philippines :-)), yet you still feel completely relaxed after the amazing breakfast. Everything is clean, thoughtfully designed, and super cozy. The staff? Incredible! Everyone is so kind, warm, and attentive. From the very first moment, we felt completely welcome. When I fell a bit ill during our stay, they took great care of me, which was incredibly touching and left a lasting impression. The fresh food, shakes, and juices were also absolutely delicious. The owner is simply the best. He organized everything we needed, from an amazing boat trip to transportation. Whatever we needed, he was there with the best advice and arrangements. We had an amazing time and would come back in a heartbeat."

"Lovely hotel just outside of the busy town centre (100php for a tricycle to town centre). Hotel staff are extremely welcoming and really made our stay special. The rooms are extra large, very clean with aircon & fan, large private bathroom + walk in closet space for all your bags. You also have your own outdoor space to sit/hang up wet items to dry. Two large pools and lots of garden to relax. There is also a wellness centre for messages & nail care. The restaurant food is above great for a hotel dinner (cocktails are also of high quality) although the breakfast buffet is pretty standard. During December this hotel was not busy at all so felt very private and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"Situated a short walk from the bustling streets of the town centre, The Ridge is a very nice hotel to stay at, if you wish to have the facilities of a hotel, but still feel as though you are among the locals. The climb to the hotel is not for the faint-hearted, or physically incapacitated, as it's at the top of a steep hill. The rooms are simple, and basic, but clean and tidy. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. The use of the complimentary tuk-tuk was unexpected, and very welcome (esp. after long days out on the water, or walking around the local area). Highly recommended :o)"
