In the early morning, with the mist swirling around, it felt like I was living in a fairytale. "Wow, what an atmospheric guesthouse! Sitting on this sofa was incredibly comfortable. The cozy fireplace was also a fantastic spot for pictures – with just a little styling, the photos turn out beautifully! The guesthouse has a spacious and very convenient parking lot. It's incredibly handy for visiting Zhonglu ******* Village and Jiaju ******* Village. What's more, the ancient watchtower viewpoint in Suopo Township is just nearby. Basically, staying here puts you in a convenient spot for exploring, and we managed to see and do everything we wished! In the evening, I joined other guests who were photographing the starry night sky. While I'm not much of a photographer myself, the pictures they captured were absolutely stunning. It truly made the trip to Danba feel worthwhile!"

The fixed price for dinner was 35 per person. For three people, the owner served four dishes and one soup, and also gave us a cold dish, which made us feel embarrassed. "I didn't expect guesthouses to be this good nowadays! A day before arrival, the front desk attendant messaged me on WeChat, sending directions, hotel facility introductions, and more. When checking in, she even upgraded us to a room with a view. The room was spacious and bright, meticulously clean in every corner, and came with plenty of complimentary snacks, pastries, and drinks. The hotel uncle was very kind and helped us with our luggage. Since it's a cliffside hotel, the access road is a bit tricky to drive, so the uncle even helped us drive out the next day. All the staff at the hotel were very enthusiastic. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant; the dishes were fresh and delicious. Although the hotel breakfast wasn't extensive, the chef's rice noodles were absolutely amazing, and the small beef buns were delightful. The hotel's public areas are excellent. From the terrace, you can capture beautiful photos of the ******* village, and the view is much better than from the public observation deck. This guesthouse was definitely the highlight of our trip to Danba."

"I saw reviews saying the owner cooked delicious food, and I booked immediately just by smelling it – and it was indeed delicious! Since I was traveling solo and couldn't order a big meal, I had the cured pork with potatoes. The cured pork had a lovely milky fragrance, and even someone like me who doesn't usually eat fatty meat ate a lot of it. The corn pancakes for breakfast were also amazing 😋 – fragrant, sweet, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The owner could seriously open her own restaurant! Also, I was traveling alone by public transport, and the owner helped me arrange transportation both up and down the mountain, which I'm incredibly grateful for. Thanks to all these convenient assists, I was able to successfully reach Jiaju and stay in an authentic ******* village, seeing the beautiful scenery. I enjoyed dinner with a view of the snow-capped mountains and breakfast with a view of the morning mist. The accommodation is located between observation decks 3 and 4; walking the mountain road is a bit far, so I hitched rides with fellow guests and other kind people who were going my way – everyone was super nice. For solo female travelers without a car, it's worth considering your options carefully before coming, as it can be quite inconvenient and requires a lot of help from various sources.
