"The river view is unbeatable! The room isn't huge, but it's neat and clean. I've seen many beautiful river views elsewhere, but gazing at the Yalu River Bridge stirs up a complex mix of emotions. The large, beautiful windows provide the perfect space for contemplation. With the binoculars, you can even see kids playing in a swimming pool on the other side. The bridge is also stunning when lit up at night. The location is excellent, truly the best in the city. Definitely worth staying!"

"This hotel is great in every aspect, but the breakfast and the price of nearly 500 yuan a night during the off-season just don't match. The variety of breakfast items is truly too limited. What's the difference between this and staying at a Hanting for 200-something yuan? Can you believe they even have plain white rice with one dish for breakfast? When checking out, the front desk didn't even look up and didn't even bother to offer the two complimentary bottles of water."

"I extended my stay for a third night, without breakfast this time. I missed breakfast on the first day, and the hotel said they couldn't refund it, which is fine, as I didn't manage my time well. As we were leaving, the front desk attendant even offered us water, but we declined. There's a Lawson convenience store right outside, so it's handy for buying things. Overall, the hotel is pretty good."

I was very satisfied after checking in. Although the room was not upgraded, it was a room with a front river view. The room facilities were basically complete. The service was very considerate. The cleaning lady was very kind. I told her not to pour out the tea in the cup, and she put a few more bottles of drinking water. The supervisor, Miss Ma Yanjiao, was very enthusiastic when checking out. It was really a very satisfactory hotel. Next time my family goes to Dandong, I will definitely book here again."

The kids especially love the children's room, which includes a media room, billiards room, and mahjong room. The dining room and kitchen are particularly spacious and beautifully designed! The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of both the Moon Island Night Market and the Andong Night Market. "To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away."

"Disappointing, and a little expensive for the quality (but I guess this is normally for Dandong). No water in the room (which I normally expect for anything over 100 yuan). The room, although had a window, was across an internal courtyard walkway, so didn't get much light. The room also seemed to have a fire escape in it. I was awoken at 5:45am by a young girl trying to open that door (I don't know if she was drunk or crazy or what was going on, but it was not a way to be woken up, and it would never have happened if there wasnt some weird locked door to the outside world at the back of the room). I informed the owner but I wasn't offered any insight. Obviously I didn't get back to sleep after this incident, so wasn't well rested the next day"
