"I would give the brown palace 2/5 stars. The only reason it’s getting 2 is because of the excellent wait staff we had at breakfast. They were so friendly and kind and attentive. Definitely recommend just going for breakfast to see them. As far as everything else it was subpar as best. I paid over $350 for my room and then at checkout paid and extra $109 just for internet and amenities. That definitely should have been included for what the hotel has to offer. Overall front desk staff was rude and stand offish and not very helpful at all. There’s some great historic pieces in the hotel but not enough for it to be worth what we paid for."

"Personally, I thought it was pretty good. It's a 'Home Away From Home' in the US style. The location is convenient, and the breakfast is plentiful. There's drinking water available 24/7 on the first floor, and a 24-hour gym on the fifth floor, though I didn't get to use it. Housekeeping cleans the room and changes the sheets daily. The sofa bed pulls out, so the room effectively has two queen-sized beds, about 1.6 meters wide, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit dated."

"I stayed here on the way from Denver to Yellowstone. It's the way to enter Yellowstone's south gate, and you have to pass through Grand Titan National Park (which has a separate fee from Yellowstone), so if you just want to go to Yellowstone and don't want to pay the extra fee, enter through the east gate. Anyway, I entered through the south gate, and my dad and I had a comfortable stay! During my trip, all the other hotels had lotion outside the shower room (or what if my dad was in the room and the lotion was outside?), but here they gave me a small tube in the bathroom, which I thought was very thoughtful."

"My stay was very excellent! My only minor concern which actually was very manageable to work with was upon showering yesterday and this morning before check out. The hot water seemed to be going in and out. Not sure it was happening throughout the hotel or just my room. But every bit of my service was lovely as well as the staff, The Game Room is a fantastic addition! Keeping my card will definitely bring me back!"
