"Even though it's a new hotel, there was no strange smell at all. As soon as you open the door, you're greeted with a view of mountains and clouds. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel facilities were excellent, with a stable hot water supply. It's also within walking distance to the viewing platform, but the owner still offered us a complimentary ride to see the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' (a local scenic phenomenon). The roasted soybeans in the lobby smelled amazing, and you can also enjoy tea and chat in the common area. The owner's cooking is delicious. The entire stay, from food to accommodation, was fantastic! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"The main advantage is the great location with a large parking lot. The balcony in the scenic room offers direct views of the snow-capped mountains, so you don't even need to leave the hotel. The restaurant's stir-fried dishes are also quite good. On the downside, the price is a bit high compared to the facilities. The hygiene is just average; the yellowish bedding with unremovable stains should really be replaced and not used anymore, as it seriously affects the overall impression."

Deqin Meili Guanyun Banshan Hotel (Wunongding)
"The hotel sent a comfortable car to pick us up from the bus stop. When we checked in, they helped us with our luggage and told us afternoon tea was served on the rooftop, offering yogurt, drinks, and a choice of tea or coffee. Our room had plenty of oxygen and was well-heated, so we didn't experience any discomfort. The bathroom heater could be adjusted to be very warm, preventing any chills. The hotel views were also excellent; we could see snow-capped mountains right from our bed. Fresh fruit was provided in the room. Dinner was à la carte and absolutely delicious. The highland barley pancake was unique, and I meant to get it to go but forgot. The stir-fried dishes were also very tasty, and the butter tea was fragrant. I was genuinely surprised by how good the hotel chef's cooking was. After dinner, a staff member even knocked on our door to bring us two bowls of sweet soup. It was incredibly pleasant to enjoy the scenery from the floor-to-ceiling window while sipping tea, eating fruit, and having sweet soup. For breakfast, I chose rice noodles, and there were also many well-balanced side dishes. My husband had two large bowls of rice noodles! Milk, coffee, and butter tea were also available. In the morning, while watching the 'golden mountain' sunrise from the rooftop, a staff member offered hot drinks, shawls, ******* clothing, and phone stands. When we checked out in the morning, they gave us a small gift. We left some clothes behind, and they even mailed them back to us free of charge. The hotel's service was truly thoughtful. We'll definitely come again!"

"My friends and I drove from Dali to Feilai Temple to see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains. After comparing several hotels around Meili Snow Mountain, we finally chose the newly opened Konggu Snow Mountain Hotel, which turned out to be the most surprising hotel of the entire trip. The location was easy to find and parking was convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, with nooks and crannies, even in the bathroom. The bedding was very comfortable, and despite the cold nights at high altitude, the entire room had underfloor heating, making for a sound and restful sleep. The front desk butler was incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage upon arrival and thoughtfully recommending less-traveled viewpoints to avoid crowded areas. The value for money was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and made with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Meili Snow Mountain soon. I hope this hotel continues to thrive and is definitely worth recommending!"

The butler service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful; they contacted me in advance before arrival to check in and set up a WeChat group for communication. They proactively informed me about hotel activities and asked if I wanted to book any. During meals, they promptly helped adjust the sunshade, introduced the dishes, and cleared plates. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a smile. They even timely reminded me when I left an item behind in the room upon departure. Special mention goes to the hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and goodnight dessert. The menu changed daily and was well-balanced. Breakfast was a combination of à la carte and buffet, featuring local specialties like congee and cold dishes, as well as main courses like beef tongue and abalone, along with Western buffet options and vegetables. The afternoon tea had beautiful views, offering a mix of sweet and savory treats with exquisite, high-quality pastries. The goodnight dessert was kept warm in a thermos, available to enjoy at any time. The overall ambiance of the hotel was tranquil and warm, with a sophisticated dark tone that wasn't gloomy. The public areas boasted beautiful scenery, and the hotel activities were professionally organized."

"Service was great from the moment we stepped into the hotel. The staff were very helpful and even assisted us with booking our bus tickets back to Shangri-La. We didn’t get to try their dinner as we were still full from our late lunch, but they kindly provided recommendations on where to eat nearby. The room was well-stocked with snacks and amenities, and there were also plenty of activities available within the hotel to enjoy."

"What you see is what you get - or even more! This place is truly a sanctuary designed and curated with great intention. We rested well after coming back from our yubeng hike. we arrived late at 930pm, however I managed to order my dinner with the hotel via WeChat, and they heated it up for us after we arrived even though the kitchen closed at 730. we had the chicken mushroom hotpot, a Yunnan classic and very well done there. The staff offered us hot milk for the night too :) The room is beautiful and comfortable and spacious. there is a tub which we could have a good soak after hiking. Breakfast was great too with options for coffee and butter yak milk. we stayed through the morning in the lobby area, browsing their books and merchandise. The staff also patiently introduced us to the various linden centre projects, various wines that is produced in the region and let us try some before we left. Knowing that we were taking a train to lijiang, she even checked if we arrived safely. Highly highly recommend. So value for money :) can't wait to return!"

"I rarely write reviews, but my uncle's family deserves a share! To borrow my daughter's words: out of 5, I'd give them a 10! They are all incredibly warm, hospitable, kind, and simple! My uncle, knowing we couldn't get a taxi, drove dozens of kilometers to pick us up. Along the way, he told us about things to be careful about in Shangri-La so we wouldn't make any mistakes, and even bought us a local watermelon. My aunt and sister kept bringing us delicious food, worried we weren't eating enough. My sister cooked us a different meal every day—she's an excellent cook! My brother, humorous and full of positive energy, arranged suitable family trips for us, taking us hiking in Neding, mushroom picking, and seeing the first bend of the Jinsha River, and even gave us beautiful aerial photos. He and his friends caught a wild fish and specifically invited us to share it. The host family's thoughtfulness made us feel right at home, so we stayed another night. The house was newly renovated, clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the room had an unbeatable view—facing the Jinsha River, with an orchard to the left, and a temple nearby (my sister said it's very efficacious); locals often go there for a stroll. There was also a spring-fed swimming pool, which the kids especially loved. **Check-in Tips** -📍**Preferred Room Types**: V6•V8•V9 -🎯**Suitable for**: All -⚠️**Note**: Due to the good air quality, there might be a few more small insects. -👍**Recommendation**: Try the local fruits and vegetables; they're especially delicious!"

"In order to see the wine made by the large-scale grape plantation and the locals, because of the story of the French Catholic Church, I took a bus from Deqin County to Cizhong Town. The decoration style and facilities of the homestay are very good. The boss’s sister and the front desk girl also drove to the next. The bridge of the car was picked up, and two small glasses of wine were prepared for free tasting. There were peach watermelon in the refrigerator to eat. The dog 🐶 was also very enthusiastic. The environment with mountains and waters and the hotel was spacious, bright and comfortable. The French decoration style was very suitable for relaxing and taking a few days of wigs. The little girl at the front desk said that the next day she took us to see her house and her vineyard. We were so happy that we immediately decided to stay one more night. In the middle of the night, the little girl changed her mind and sent a message that there were snakes in the field. I couldn't go to see the vineyard over there. Said that we can take us to the old road in Cizhong to see, the next morning, the little girl said that there were guests who could not leave. In fact, from our check-in to our departure, there were two of our guests. When we left the store, the attitude of the little girl was different from the attitude of us when we arrived at the store. I was able to stand aside and watch us work hard to move a few luggage outside the door. She could have helped us, but she didn’t help. She could have sent us to the bridge where we waited for the bus, but she didn’t. All our good feelings about this homestay were covered with a layer of dust. The next afternoon, the little girl specially asked me to give praise. I agreed to it out of courtesy, but I was very uncomfortable. The praise was not coming. It was really good. You can see everything from the comfort of your sofa – much better than freezing at a crowded viewing platform early in the morning. The guesthouse facilities are very new, and the hygiene standards are high. The bedding is comfortable. A huge bonus is the oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a lifesaver for guests worried about altitude sickness. **Service**: The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and always ready to help. The owner also has an adorable golden retriever as a welcoming ambassador! When we left, they even kindly gave us a complimentary souvenir. Thank you, boss! **Breakfast**: The nine-compartment breakfast with rice noodles was much better than expected; every dish was delicious. **Summary**: If you're coming to Wunongding, don't hesitate – this is the place to choose. The view, service, and hygiene are all excellent, and it offers fantastic value for money."

"The room's location was great, and a big thanks to Xingxing for reserving a parking spot right outside the entrance. The breakfast was plentiful, and the rooftop view was perfect. However, there were some downsides. The room's facilities were a bit old, and there was a strong sewage smell. Room 30***06 had its view of Kawagarbo Peak completely blocked, so the balcony view wasn't good. For this price, it's worth spending a bit more to upgrade your room type."

"The guesthouse is conveniently located very close to the Feilai Temple viewing platform, just a 3-5 minute walk away. Rooms are well-equipped with oxygen concentrators and humidifiers, which helps alleviate any concerns about altitude sickness. The service was exceptionally warm and welcoming; they even came to the downstairs parking lot with umbrellas to pick us up on a rainy day. The guesthouse also features a restaurant, and the food was delicious! My only minor regret this visit was not being able to see Meili Snow Mountain, likely due to it being the rainy season. It's a bit disappointing, but I guess I'll just have to come back in winter! When I revisit Meili Snow Mountain, I will absolutely choose to stay here again."

"The owner was very friendly and even helped us arrange transportation. The room had an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, and the underfloor heating was turned on in advance, so it was nice and warm when we walked in. The location is unbeatable, right next to the observation deck, a maximum 2-minute walk away. You can even see the observation deck from the rooftop."
