The owner's service was top-notch. The four of us rode our motorcycles into Zhagana, and once we parked, we really didn't want to ride anymore. The owner personally drove us around inside the scenic area, which was fantastic!"

"We were really lucky to book this hotel as foreign travellers. They had a lady on hand who could speak both German and English and with her, we were able to get transport to Gamu (?) Lake, after the taxi driver she arranged for earler suddenly decided he wanted more money, as we were on our way there. They had lunch with my Wife and I and shared delicious Yak meat with us, before sending us to the lake. 10/10 experience. Great people, very kind and exceptionally helpful. Love from Germany and Georgia"

"I don't usually leave comments, but if you see this, I hope you'll take my advice. I didn't take the low rating seriously at the time, thinking that since it looked large and, even though it was a guesthouse, there shouldn't be any problems. However, my experience was absolutely terrible, for the following reasons: 1. The photos on the platform looked good, but the actual accommodation was in a completely different location – false advertising. 2. I arrived in the middle of the night, but checkout was at midnight, not a minute more, because there were other guests. In reality, I saw no one had booked it the next day. 3. Breakfast was incredibly poor – a bowl of leftover porridge, a steamed bun, and a few cold dishes, served per person, not a buffet. 4. The room was damaged in many places, and the cleanliness was poor; it wasn't worth the price at all. Hope this helps."

The room was spacious, bright, and clean, so we stayed for two nights. The only downside was that all the rooms require going down stairs, which was a bit inconvenient for carrying luggage. "Just reading the reviews really makes a difference! I thought that at 1300+ RMB, the price shouldn't be too bad, but I was wrong... not every room had a smart toilet, and in the old-fashioned rooms, even the toothbrush cup was covered in stains. The reviews said the owner was very nice and offered free coffee and drinks, but I didn't get to enjoy that. The environment in the duty room clearly indicated it was a privately owned guesthouse with poor management. On the bright side, the location was indeed excellent, right in the center of the view, and we saw the morning mist! The young man who greeted us in the evening was quite responsible and enthusiastic. Finally, the shower water was hot enough. Oh, and breakfast was served at a restaurant next door, with each person getting a bowl of porridge, a steamed bun, and two small plates of cold dishes. I guess you could consider this a National Day holiday premium! There are so many guesthouses, it's dizzying! The view from the entrance was still pretty good."
