"The room is in a good location, and I can see the white cliffs directly from my room The service is ridiculously bad. I checked my bag in on the first day, and then on the second day I asked the front desk if they could help me check out. They directly said: you are not our guest anymore😅😅😅. It means that I can't check in after checking out. I really think it's ridiculous. The service of the chain hotels I know is generally beyond expectations"

"Highly recommended. Alex was very friendly and helpful, breakfast (self service) was great, price is of good value, bed was comfy, and the house built in 1834 was historical and well maintained. Only complaint is probably the low shower water pressure though, but it is not an issue considering the age of this house."

"Absolutely lovely staff who are very attentive. The restaurant had great food and a nice atmosphere. The room had everything we needed - and was decorated really well. We loved that we could select from a full breakfast menu (including coffee/teas) and it was included in the price of our accommodation - as we had a strict budget for our trip this really helped. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying/eating here! TIP - ask for a room farthest away from the road + make sure you eat your included breakfast at the restaurant!"

"I used Hilton's a lot on business in the past & Dover lived up to my high expectations. Booked 3 twin rooms for 3 nights for a reunion. Very happy with our stay & will book again. Friendly, attentive staff. Spotlessly clean rooms & bathrooms. Some of the comfiest beds we've slept in. A few issues with (cold) breakfast (resolved) & a great selection. Some of our party enjoyed the sauna. One downside - the single lift is very small & slow creating a bottleneck."

"The reason I booked this hotel was because it was the closest hotel to the ferry dock. Although it wasn't a 30-minute walk, I think it was a 20-minute walk. The room was spacious and the view was pretty as it was towards the sea. The bathroom sink is being drained very seriously. Even though it was early September, it was really hot because there was no air conditioning. There was a fan, but it didn't help."
