"We had the best experience! We had two instructors for the 6 of us which included 3 kids (14, 12, 11) and 3 adults. All of us got up and had some great rides even though we had never surfed before. The price was fair and comparable to other schools. But our lesson was much longer than the other groups we saw and the equipment was in good shape. Jorge (our instructor) was patient, gave helpful instruction, and very encouraging. Would highly recommend this school."

"I was on a business trip to meet a client, and this hotel was recommended by them because it was close to their company. I booked a sea-view room, which was quite spacious and even had a laundry room, which was very convenient. The bed was also relatively large compared to other hotels in Europe."

"I have nothing but praise for Botica Guesthouse. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Espinho and very close to the beach. The accommodation is wonderful—clean, beautiful, comfortable...a real treat! We wanted to visit Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Espinho is the perfect location. It's next to the station on Portugal's main railway line, so getting to all the cities by train was incredibly convenient, and we didn't need the car. Porto is about a 20-minute train ride away and costs the price of a metro ticket. Elizabete is an absolute angel of a hostess; she's incredibly kind and always willing to help. I have no doubt that if we return to Porto, we'll stay there again and recommend it to anyone who goes."
