"The hotel has free parking, which is very convenient. The room is spacious, but the facilities are a bit old and musty, and the sheets don't seem very clean. I didn't dare open the window at night, so I used a fan to ventilate the room. The value for money isn't very high."

"Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Fort William houses are difficult to book in August. The house I saw online said it was a superior cabin. I really didn't understand the point of the room. When I went there, I realized that it looked like a high-end prefabricated house. About twelve square meters. It’s not like Fifteen square meters as described by Ctrip. As soon as I entered the house, it smelled like sweat. The house was very cold because it was on an open field. There is a heating system, but it heats up very slowly. I heated it until eleven o'clock and it was only twenty degrees. The bathroom was about one level and I couldn't take a shower in it. I slept all night with my clothes on. The key point is that a house like this costs more than 2,200 a night at this time. We booked two rooms for two nights. After sleeping all night, I decided not to stay any longer. The boss doesn't check out. Ctrip thought I was a high-quality customer and refunded 500 yuan to me. I just think it's a big hole. Breakfast in the morning is a la carte with a small amount of buffet. Not tasty. It feels like you made your own sausage. Unpalatable."

"We have just spent the holiday period in and around the highlands and the wife had booked the New Years eve evening up here...it did not disappoint in any way! We were met and greeted on arrival with a glass of bubbly each and after a short while shown thru to the dining area. Everybody had the 7 x course menu which was pre set and although we knew before hand what it was going to be it was still very enjoyable actually seeing it in front of you and even better eating and tasting it! We both felt like we were the judges in master chef TV show and we can both honestly say we both liked/ loved everything put before us! 10/10 for presentation , food quality and service and as important the great value ! Thank you to the servers to the chefs and the host! We will def be back and I would say to anyone they must try here!,"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Ashburn House. The room was beautiful, and the view over the loch was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and fresh fruit every morning. Hayley is a lovely host — very kind, welcoming, and always helpful.
