"The room was spacious, although the overall design felt a little dated. It was well equipped with plenty of in-room amenities, including a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. However, I was quite disappointed with the luggage storage. We arrived a few hours before check-in and asked the staff to store our luggage while we went out. Instead of placing it somewhere secure, our bags were simply left in the hallway. In my experience, other hotels usually tag luggage and store it properly in a designated secure area. For a hotel at this level, I expected a more professional and secure approach to handling guests’ belongings. Unfortunately, this part of the experience was quite disappointing."

"Not as good as i expected. I stayed in YHA other cities and i liked most of them. This hostel is unique, once was a jail. Other than that, nothing special. I even had to ask Air conditiner remote control at the front desk and then had to return back again. Back and forth. And most of the staffs werent too friendly. Shower room in my building got no hot water so i had to go to other building. And no wifi in my room. Had to go to public areas for the wifi. Wont stay there again"

"This is a very characteristic and historic hotel, located right in the heart of the city, the location is truly unbeatable. The hotel offers two bars, one on the ground floor and another on the rooftop, as well as a restaurant on the first floor, giving plenty of options to enjoy the atmosphere of the building. Due to the lively nightlife in the area, in the morning the stairs and elevator can be a bit dirty, which is a small downside. The hotel does offer breakfast, but just outside there are many excellent cafés and bars with great breakfast options, which we personally enjoyed. Overall, a charming stay in a fantastic central location."

"Great pub, my stay was comfortable. Rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. Very close to cappuccino strip (walking distance) great food specials they have special every day. It would have been even nicer if they had en-suite however the shared toilets were clean and well kept so no issues. I will definitely be returning"

"Great place to stay in Fremantle - you can't get any more central than this place! Rooms were immaculate, staff very friendly, prices were relatively high but apparently normal for the Perth region. Breakfast was included but not very generous. As it is right in the centre of Fremantle - there are quite a few better breakfasts around only metres away, but obviously at additional cost. Would rate this five out if five if they made a bit more effort with the breakfasts!"
