"Upon arrival, the front desk staff were very welcoming and I felt like I had come back here. The Japanese-style room had a low bed, so the room felt spacious, and the window side had been renovated, with a large long table and two chairs along the window. There was a work uniform in the room, and a yukata was available next to the front desk. There were two room keys, which was convenient. There were sweets in the room, mineral water, Dolce Gusto, coffee, etc. There was a large bath and an open-air bath, which were alternated between men and women. There were many places to wash, and amenities were available in the wash area. The hot spring was colorless and transparent. For dinner, we had the "Koshu beef kaiseki" in a beautiful restaurant. Tea, water, rice and miso soup had been changed to a self-service system. Dinner was very satisfying. I was looking forward to the usual Koshu beef, raw tuna and Fujinosuke nigiri that are served as appetizers. This time, I enjoyed Koshu beef as shabu-shabu and steamed in a bamboo steamer. I was a little disappointed that I could only eat a little of the rice and forgot to take a picture of the dessert. After dinner, we watched the lights of Isawa Onsen Sakura Onsen Street, right in front of the inn. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, and we could choose between beef bowl or white rice. There were also side dishes such as salmon, so my wife had seconds of rice. A hoto was also included, so we were full even without seconds. On a cold day, a hoto really warms the body. Check-out was at 11am, so we were able to relax in our room after breakfast. The baths and food at this inn were great, and the hospitality was outstanding, making for a heartwarming stay."

It was truly a Chateraise experience, and I really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and relaxing."

"From the hospitality to the cleaning to the service, it was excellent and better than expected for the price. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower in my room was so weak that it was almost unusable. It was a bit disappointing as everything else was perfect. However, there was a large public bath and even including the shower, it was a very nice ryokan! Thank you very much."

"The hotel was reserved for a travel agency that we used for a tour. The entrance was decorated with a large chandelier and carpets, and William Morris' paintings were used here and there. The rooms were arranged facing a large Japanese garden, giving it the feel of a large Showa-era retro inn. The inn is old, but the amenities, such as the natural hot spring hair dryers and showers, were well-thought-out. The meals were made with local ingredients and were quite filling. After the meal, there was a show and bingo tournament in the lobby, probably because it was reserved for us. We used it as a group, so I don't know how it is for individual guests. However, there was no shop, and there was a corner at the front desk that sold wine and some snacks to have with tea in the room, but there were no vending machines, so we couldn't buy bottled water, and there was no convenience store nearby, so it was inconvenient."

A friendly woman at reception kindly assisted me. An attendant guided me to my room while carrying my luggage. There was a pond with many beautiful Nishikigoi carp swimming around, and they sold food so I could feed them♪ 🔻 [Barrier-Free Access] ③ It was mostly accessible, but there were some small steps here and there. 🔻 [Room] ③ A very spacious and beautiful Japanese-style room with an outstanding sense of openness. 🔻 [View from the Room] ② Mountains in the distance, with only the peak of Mt. Fuji visible. The rest was the cityscape. 🔻 [Hot Springs] ④ There were two baths: a wine bath and a small private bath on a higher floor where you could soak while enjoying the view. The water was quite warm, and soaking in the fragrant reddish-purple tub was a very satisfying way to soothe my fatigue. The open-air bath was also very pleasant♪ 🔻 [Food (Dinner)] ④ We had dinner in a private room. This was the last meal of the year♪ Each dish was very stylish. There was a wide selection, including Koshu beef and crab, and they were all delicious. 🔻 [Hotel Shop] ③ The shop was small and mainly stocked local specialties and items related to Takeda Shingen. Being in Yamanashi Prefecture, there was a wide selection of Shine Muscat processed products. 🔻 [Cooking scene (breakfast)] ③ Since we visited during the New Year holidays, the breakfast scene was different from usual, with New Year's dishes that were a delight to the eyes♪ 🔻 [Seeing off on the way home] ③ We paid in the lobby, and the attendant carried our luggage to our car. Then, we had our photo taken at the entrance♪ Overall score: 3 🎉"
