"This hotel is so new it feels like it opened before it was fully ready! There were no window screens and no air conditioning. Even though the entire city of Genhe had already started heating, this hotel had almost no heating facilities. After repeated urging, they brought a worn-out fan heater that couldn't swivel and barely blew any air from the bottom. Because the cord was short, the only place to plug it in was by the nightstand, and it hummed loudly. The shower needed 30 minutes to heat up, and then the hot water only lasted less than 10 minutes. While the hotel manager tried hard to fix things—bringing an electric blanket and replacing the fan heater—some of these fundamental issues were beyond his control. The breakfast room was tiny, clearly unable to accommodate the hotel's guests. Everyone was crammed together, and there were flies buzzing around. The area outside the hotel wasn't properly finished either, with wood and large trucks carrying construction materials right at the hotel entrance. Staying on the first floor, if you opened the curtains, you looked right out onto the parking garage, offering no privacy. If you closed the curtains, the room was pitch black, forcing you to keep the lights on."

I initially thought it was tourists, but then a man started banging on the door (not really knocking) and demanding that the cleaning staff come to clean. Checkout was at 12:00 PM, and they came to clean at 10:00 AM?! Afterward, he continued talking loudly to the girl next to him, making a huge racket. The cleanliness was also appalling; there was still hair in the room that hadn't been cleaned properly…"
