The Life Styles Hotel Surabaya ★★★

📍 Jl. Sumatera No.16, Genteng

"Overall, it's pretty great! The location is super close to the train station, mall, and Monkasel. So if you want to explore, you can just walk everywhere. There are also plenty of food stalls nearby. Right next to the hotel, there's Warteg Bahari, and if you cross the street and walk a bit, you'll find a legendary food stall at Gubeng Pojok. So no worries about going hungry. The only downside is that the bathroom was dirty. The door was moldy, the toilet was disgusting, basically the bathroom was a 2/5. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the AC was cold, and the TV was big and clear. The view was decent. The facilities are standard for a 3-star hotel. The pool view is really good though, pretty and aesthetic. That's all for my review. If you ask me if I'd stay here again next time? Definitely not. Hehehe. Thanks!"

Morazen Surabaya ★★★★

📍 Kayoon St No.4-10, Surabaya, Genteng

"An excellent hotel! The rooms are clean, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer beautiful views. All the staff provide outstanding service, from the front desk and baggage handling to the cafe, gym, restaurant, and bar 🤩. The hot springs are very relaxing, and the gym looks well-equipped and clean, though my schedule was too packed to try it this time. The spa was also very enjoyable. The sky bar has great views, and the live band really adds to the atmosphere. This hotel experience was one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts of my trip to Surabaya!"

"Overall, it was okay. There were a few significant issues though, like the toilet water overflowing, and the bathtub in my son's room wouldn't drain, but a call to customer service sorted it out immediately. The breakfast lacked variety; the porridge, rawon, fried rice, and omelette were all just average in taste. The omelette was almost like a dry rolled egg pancake, when usually they're still creamy and moist inside; yesterday's was dry. Hopefully, there will be improvements in the future."

"Otelin genel atmosferi çok davetkar ve bakımlıydı. Odamız temiz ve konforluydu ve uzun keşif günlerinin ardından huzurlu bir sığınak sağladı. Sunulan olanaklar çok beğenildi ve konaklamamızı daha da kolaylaştırdı. Personelin son derece nazik ve her türlü isteğimize yardımcı olmaya istekli olduğunu gördük."

"The location is very good and the breakfast was excellent. However, the carpet in the room feels dirty and hasn't been cleaned. Also they should provide water dispenser to refill water bottle. Most of 4 or 5-star hotels have provided unlimited water to refill guest tumbler. It is a good way to take care environment to reduce single use plastic. It is a shame that one of the waiter at breakfast didn't allow me to refill my water bottle."
