🌟 Outstanding Stay at Amalia Hotel Athens 🌟 The Amalia Hotel Athens is in an excellent location—right in the center, with easy access to major sightseeing spots and many great food options. It is definitely the best choice in Athens, offering comfort at a very reasonable price. What made our stay truly memorable was the outstanding staff: Mrs. Kalliopi (Front Desk Receptionist) – She warmly upgraded our room, recommended some of the best dining experiences in Athens, and even made reservations for us. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel so welcome. Ms. Irini Pasalidou (Housekeeping) – She kept our room spotless, replaced towels and toiletries promptly, and greeted us every morning with a smile. Her dedication, efficiency, and kindness made us feel right at home. Breakfast Team: Stavros & Marilena – Their smiles and attentive service brightened each morning. Stavros always served fresh orange juice as soon as we sat down, while Marilena ensured the buffet was well stocked and the tables were clean. Their dedication and hard work made breakfast a delightful experience. Because of these wonderful team members, our visit to Athens was exceptionally enjoyable and comfortable. Review for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting.

Otel metroya çok yakın, 400 metre uzaklıkta. Alt katta çok sayıda süpermarket, pastane ve kafe var! Özel hatırlatma: Burada resepsiyon bulunmamaktadır. Otel, check-in günü saat 11.00'de size e-posta ile giriş yapacaktır. Şifre saat 15.00'e kadar kullanılamaz.

我不知道為何看到有人因為只給一瓶水而負評。在歐洲一般都喝水龍頭水，酒店也在水龍頭告知水是可以直接喝的。 這個酒店除了位置不是非常市中心（但到哪裡都是走路能到的距離，包含地鐵站），其他一切都很好。 距離大街的房間可能不是非常安靜，但還在能接受的噪音範圍。房間空調制冷正常，風聲很小。 備品完整，包含牙刷牙膏、拖鞋等。設施與清潔很棒，國際標準。服務一流。枕頭有兩種尺寸，高軟or硬薄，這一點很多星級酒店都還要另外叫房務送。很加分。 總體來說我花90美元（含10歐的城市稅）訂購到一晚，非常超值。房間本身有150-180美元的價值。（只要你願意多走10分鐘）

Otelde ilk konaklamamdı ve harika bir konaklamaydı. 402 numaralı odada iki gün kaldım. Tek şikayetim, kapının alt kısmının biraz hasarlı olması ve kolay kapanmamasıydı. Temizlik yaparken çok nazik davranan kızlara durumu anlattım ve bir sonraki rezervasyonlarında tamir edip ilgileneceklerini düşünüyorum. Bunun dışında, bu otelde her şey harikaydı; bakım yaptırdığım spa ve kızların çok nazik tavırları ve tabii ki bir dilim turta yemek için gittiğim restoran da dahil olmak üzere, çok nazik insanlar ve çok lezzetli yemekler vardı.

I was impressed with this hotel for the price I paid. Very centralised, with the metro station right there. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets only steps away. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Lots of pillows on the bed. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some. Free water as well. The breakfast was copious. So much choices. I love the terrace. There are jacuzzis on the terrace! I also ate at the restaurant, which as very good. The staff are very friendly. The deco is cool as well. I’ll come back next time I’m in Athens.

The room was fine — very clean and spacious. However, the sink got blocked after just one day of use, and during showers the water would splash outside the shower area, so I had to use towels to dry the floor. Also, in the morning canteen, one of the male staff members was not very polite. He seemed a bit rude and did not treat us the same way as he treated other tables.

Bu otel çok güzel. Omonia Meydanı'nda yer almaktadır. Bize Prosecco sunan güler yüzlü personel tarafından karşılandık. Ayrıca odamızda su ve küçük bir şişe Prosecco vardı. Odalar küçük ama bir şehir otelinde bu beklenen bir şey. Harika bir çatı havuzu. Saat 12'ye kadar servis edilen harika kahvaltı ve kahve almak için fincanlar içebilirsiniz.
