"The hotel, to put it bluntly, resembled a filming base in Hangzhou. The public areas were filled with young women changing outfits for photoshoots… I even wondered if it was owned by a fellow countryman… The location was a 30-40 minute drive from the city center, and there was nothing around except the hotel. The only place to eat was the hotel's own Western restaurant—imagine a filming base serving Western food… The moment I entered the hotel, I felt uncomfortable; it had a very eerie feel. First, in this remote hotel, all the staff except the receptionist were dressed as maids. All the hotel rooms were arranged around a central atrium. Isn't it said that you shouldn't stay in corner rooms? This one was all corner rooms… The discomfort became even more pronounced after entering the room. There were so many doors and windows that it took forever to figure out which door led where. My room had a door in the bathroom that I didn't discover until evening—it opened directly into the hallway… And then, the entire hotel was filled with… The walls were covered in paintings—in the public areas, hallways, and rooms—and the pages from antique books, seemingly salvaged from who-knows-where. One moment you'd see a Russian general, the next a French grandmother, then the structure of an 18th-century rifle… and many of the paintings were crooked… The hotel probably intended to create a French ambiance, but it ended up with an eerie atmosphere… Perhaps because it's in the suburbs, all sounds were very noticeable at night, and there were many windows… Those with sensitive constitutions or weak constitutions should choose carefully. I'm considered quite daring; I've traveled and stayed in hotels hundreds of times, and I barely slept a wink that night…"

"The entrance to the hotel is not visible at night, so I had to drive past it and turn around to come back again. The staff is friendly and gives good advice. The room is spacious, but the equipment may need to be replaced, such as towels."
