JianGuo Hotel HeKou ★★★★★

📍 Building 1, No. 1 Yelin West Road, Hekou Yao Özerk İlçesi

"When we first checked in, the hotel seemed pretty good. We stayed for two days, but then we noticed a few issues that need improvement. First, the large bed by the window wobbles and makes a loud creaking noise every time you turn over, which was quite disruptive late at night – it even woke me up. Second, the bathroom sink faucet is too short. When you wash your hands or face, half the water spills out and drips all over the counter and floor. Below the counter, there are two three-pin power sockets on either side, which feels even more dangerous. If water gets in there, it could easily short-circuit or even cause an electric shock. This design is truly terrible. Additionally, while there was a good variety of breakfast options, none of them tasted very good. Everything else was fine; it was relatively quiet, and there were always taxis waiting outside, making it convenient to get around. They also offer special pillows for free. I'd give it 2 out of 5 stars. These are the honest opinions of a Ctrip Diamond member and review expert."

He Kou Zhenpin Guomen Hotel (He Kou Port Store) ★★★

📍 No. 5 Renmin Road, Hekou Yao Özerk İlçesi

"Great hotel, and I do not say this often! Beautiful facade, convenient location right next to the border crossing and functional rooms. The bed matress was moderately firm, but very comfortable. I slept better than almost anywhere else during my month long trip. My room faced the side wall of another building in the backyard and it was quiet day and night.. The staff was also very helpful."

Xinhe Resort ★★★★

📍 Beishan Service Area, Xinhe Expressway, Hekou Yao Özerk İlçesi

"Great hotel complex with a very nice pool. The room was very large and even had a bathtub. Breakfast was plentiful, although it seemed geared more towards Chinese guests. The staff were friendly and very helpful despite the language barrier. The only potential issue was that the air conditioning didn't really heat the room (at least we couldn't tell), but that was fine in February. We would definitely come back."

"The room was okay, the price wasn't high, and the environment and cleanliness were acceptable. The only problem was the location; the navigation was wrong, and I couldn't find it after searching for a long time. The owner wouldn't allow cancellations. The room was damp, there was no elevator, and I had to climb six floors. It was next to a main road, so it was a bit noisy at night. I originally booked a single double bed for one person, but because there were no rooms available, they changed me to a room with two single beds."

Duş, bazen duş almamı zorlaştıran garip bir konumda. Özellikle odanız en üst kata yakınsa, ilk gün bagajları merdivenlerden yukarı taşıdığınızda asansör olmadan merdivenlere çıkmak uygun değil."

"We were supposed to stay one night, but ended up staying three because we loved the hotel. Breakfast isn't included, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was large and luxurious. We appreciated the daily housekeeping. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. The bedding was also excellent, with plush pillows and a very comfortable mattress. Located just 200 meters from the border, this hotel is a great deal for all types of tourists. Oh, and one more thing: the room's smart home system was really convenient. We're planning to return soon."

"We specifically booked a hotel away from the city center so we could get a good night's sleep. But starting at 7 AM, the hotel was using a lawnmower to cut the lawn right below our window, making a constant screeching noise. We called the front desk, but they didn't fix it. Our family was woken up at 7:30 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. Even after closing the windows, the noise continued until 9 AM. We didn't get any rest at all! It's incredibly frustrating. I wonder what will happen if they put that lousy machine on later. They have absolutely no consideration for their guests' comfort!"

"In terms of hygiene, it was just so-so. The floor tiles weren't dry when I entered, and I slipped on them. As for the facilities, the colors in the room were too mixed, and I couldn't believe it was real. The washing machine was a bit poor for a commercial setting."
