"First off, full marks to the young staff! Both the butler and the farm tour guides were incredibly dedicated and responsible, leaving us with a great impression despite the continuous rain and imperfect itinerary. Even with the rain, the kids absolutely loved the rice field train and the low-altitude cable car. However, the accommodation itself was more like a guesthouse/farmstay level, and not particularly good value for money. The yard was huge but we couldn't use it due to the rain. The electronic door lock wouldn't open, leaving my child standing outside for ages. My husband took a heavy fall right upon entering; the entrance matting was incredibly slippery when wet, and he practically performed a ceremonial bow upon arrival with the luggage – you can imagine our mood! (We ended up using the bathroom mat to cover it to prevent the kids from slipping later). The bathroom was very large, but the layout was odd. The shower was right by the entrance, and water easily overflowed. The toilet was also placed right at the shower partition entrance, making it feel very cramped. We had to make our own beds, and when we opened the cabinet, there was a strong, musty 'human smell'. The curtains were very thin, which was a real pain since it gets light around 3:30 AM. There's a restaurant in the village open to the public, but if you want breakfast, you need to order by around 8:30 AM as they start preparing for group lunches. Dinner service ends at 5:30 PM, so it's inconvenient to eat without a car. In summary, it's fine for a half-day or full-day visit to Yanji with kids for photos and checking out the sights, but I wouldn't recommend staying overnight. It's very close to Yanji, making round trips convenient."

"It is a very unique Korean B&B. It is best to drive to Longjing to eat. There are many Longjings in Yanji, and there is no queue. Before dark, you can go to the rice fields to play on the swings and take pictures of the sunset. There are much fewer people than during the day, and it is possible. Private venue. You must go to the entertainment facilities such as the small train at 4:30, otherwise people will get off work. July is the most beautiful time for the rice fields. The only drawback is that the accommodation does not distinguish between mattresses and quilts. It is recommended that the store differentiate between quilts and mattresses. I have stayed in similar B&Bs in Korea. The mattresses were rolled directly into a large circle and the quilts were stacked separately. The store can learn from this."
