📍 Building 1, Hardware Commercial Building, Zhongxin Street West, Zhanqian Road South, Hengshui

"During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I visited Hengshui with my family and chose this hotel. Its location is absolutely superb, right next to Hengshui Railway Station, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety of high-quality options, ensuring there was something delicious for everyone, from seniors to children. It was definitely an excellent choice for our trip."

"The location is superb, near Aegean Shopping Park, surrounded by thriving commercial areas, making shopping and strolling very convenient. The hotel service is first-class, living up to the Hilton brand, with a rich and diverse breakfast selection. The room facilities are complete and exquisite, providing a fantastic stay. An outdoor terrace is convenient for guests to smoke. In short, highly recommended. The price is also reasonable. It's also very close to Hengshui High School and Anji Bridge."

"Hotel parking is very convenient at the door, after the reception, we also upgraded the room type for free. The room was very clean and there was no smell. The child liked it very much. The mattress is hard and the wife likes it very much! The important thing is that the two children eat very comfortably for breakfast! Both Chinese and Western styles, although there are not many styles, it is very intimate! I also gave the child a gift when I checked out. The children were very happy. This is a very comfortable stay experience! Praise ((*^∀^))👍🏻"

"Been choosing this hotel for the last 3 years since it opened and really saw the quality drop in my last visit. The location is good because of the close proximity to a mall and the train station, but I wouldn’t choose it again. - Used 1 of the dryers and came back to find my clothes on the floor because the door of the dryer broke. 2 out of 4 dryers were then broken and under maintenance for at least 2 days up till when I left. The number of machines actually available for use was ridiculous for a hotel with so many guests - Hairdryer wasn’t working and I called the front desk, one of the staff answered and said they would send someone up. 10-15minutes later no one came and I called again, different person answered and had to wait another 10-15 minutes to actually get a new hairdryer - overall cleanliness of the room was poor. Toilet floor had stains and when I first showered there was a strong urine stench coming from the drain. - Corridors were astonishingly hot with poor ventilation and no air conditioning, especially with the summer heat"

Hengshui Intercity Hotel ★★★★

📍 Tower A, Jiahe Building, Chongwen West Road, Hengshui

"This is a new hotel with decent facilities and spacious rooms. However, strangely, despite it being a dry season, the bedding felt damp in both rooms we booked. We even found a red bug in one of the rooms. The parking situation was chaotic and unmanaged. The underground parking couldn't read license plates; even after registering, multiple attempts failed to scan them. After contacting the front desk, we were told to park in an outdoor spot. The next morning, after checking out, our car was blocked in on both sides. The staff told us to call the numbers left on the cars, and when I asked the lobby staff, they simply said if no one answers, there's nothing they can do. No one even bothered to go outside and check. It took us half an hour to finally get out of the parking lot. Hotel parking should really be managed. The biggest issue, though, is that there's construction going on around the hotel. It started banging and clanging early in the morning, and the noise was clearly audible even with earplugs in – it was impossible to sleep."

Holiday Inn Express HENGSHUI RAILWAY STATION by IHG ★★★★
"Facilities: Well-equipped and comprehensive. Cleanliness: Quite clean and satisfactory. Location: Excellent. It's right across from the train station, which is incredibly convenient, and not far from the high-speed rail station either. Service: While not the absolute best, it was certainly good, and the staff had a very pleasant attitude."

"The location of the hotel is very eye-catching. The two beauties who received the check-in have a good service attitude. When we heard that we wanted to look at the room first, we immediately took us to see. The room was bright and clean, the view outside the window was wide, and the bathroom was dry and wet. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it did not affect the whole feeling. Breakfast variety is OK, but fortunately, fresh and hot, overall good!"

"This is probably one of the older four-star hotels in Hengshui. The exterior looks quite grand, but that's about it; it seems the entire budget went into the luxurious facade and the lighting throughout the building. The interior is dated, and the facilities and breakfast are basically three-star level. The sheets were dirty as soon as I entered. Although they gave me a coffee voucher, it's hard to give it a high rating. Construction was ongoing downstairs during the National Day holiday, making it difficult to get a proper rest. The underground parking is inexplicably small; someone with no parking skills like me would never go back… Seriously, I hope the hotel group can distribute their budget more evenly…"
