"We used this hotel to celebrate my mother's 99th birthday and my sister's 70th birthday. The food was truly Himi-quality! We were very satisfied with the fresh sashimi and the elaborate dishes that kept coming one after another. I secretly ordered a cake in advance and had it delivered to the hotel on the day of our stay, and my mother and sister were delighted with the surprise. The location was also fantastic; we could see the sea change color from sunset and the sunrise rising over the ocean was amazing. We would love to come back again."

"The hotel is located by the sea, and enjoying breakfast and dinner with the view every day was wonderful! The chef put a lot of effort into the dinners; I stayed four nights and never had the same dish twice, and the ingredients were always fresh! Going to the public pool while soaking and looking at the sea was incredibly relaxing. I'm so glad I chose this relaxing hotel. They also offer complimentary illy coffee and ice cream every day. Highly recommended! 👍"

"The men's bath seemed to be broken, so we had to use the women's bath on a rotating basis. Although it said there was a sauna, there wasn't one (in the women's bath), and the open-air bath didn't even have any water in it, which was disappointing. The staff were kind, and the breakfast was delicious."

"This hotel is small, with only 7 rooms, but that's precisely its charm. You don't have to rush for the private baths, and the area is very quiet, so definitely opt for the meal plan. I highly recommend adding the Hida beef for an extra 2000 yen per person – you get four generous, thick cuts, which is excellent value. Although it's an older hotel, all the facilities are well-maintained, and the food quality is high."

"This is a classic Japanese onsen ryokan updated slightly to be contemporary. Nothing fancy for sure, but comfortable, clean and has a friendly, flexible staff. We had a very, very fresh and delicious dinner watching the sun set over Toyama Bay and the mountains. The onsen bath and outside onsen are very lovely and have that same great view. I would never hesitate to recommend this to a friend and look forward to returning here again."

"The inn was well-cleaned and I had a very comfortable stay. I'm sure they chose the special teacups 🍵. It was very pleasant, the tea was delicious and I felt relaxed. I had the breakfast set, but the surimi miso soup was very tasty, and it was the best, as you can only get in Himi and Misaki-san is so proud of her miso soup. Thank you very much. Next time I'd like to stay with the dinner and breakfast set."
