"I stayed here during the Himi Festival. There was a large public bath, and I checked the TV to see how busy it was before going in. There were four washing areas inside and two outside. I used the large public bath three times: after arriving at the hotel, before going to bed, and after waking up in the morning. My skin became so smooth. The mattress on the bed was just the right firmness, so I slept soundly. I was able to enjoy my breakfast at my own pace, and the miso soup and white rice were delicious. Of course, the side dishes were also delicious. The complimentary plum juice was popular and ran out quickly, so I was disappointed that I couldn't drink it. For dinner, there was Uotami and a supermarket nearby, so it wasn't a problem. I would like to stay here again. And I truly hope that Himi will be able to recover."

"The hotel is a bit old, but clean. The rooms don't have private bathrooms; you have to use the communal bathhouse. Breakfast is good, but you have to get up very early to eat; the last breakfast is at 8 am. The front desk staff only speaks Japanese, so you need a translator to communicate, but they are very hospitable."

"We used this hotel to celebrate my mother's 99th birthday and my sister's 70th birthday. The food was truly Himi-quality! We were very satisfied with the fresh sashimi and the elaborate dishes that kept coming one after another. I secretly ordered a cake in advance and had it delivered to the hotel on the day of our stay, and my mother and sister were delighted with the surprise. The location was also fantastic; we could see the sea change color from sunset and the sunrise rising over the ocean was amazing. We would love to come back again."

"The location was great, the welcome drinks, soft serve ice cream, and food were delicious, and the tableware was stylish. The dinner and main course were both stylish and delicious, and the breakfast was just as great. "This hotel is small, with only 7 rooms, but that's precisely its charm. You don't have to rush for the private baths, and the area is very quiet, so definitely opt for the meal plan. I highly recommend adding the Hida beef for an extra 2000 yen per person – you get four generous, thick cuts, which is excellent value. Although it's an older hotel, all the facilities are well-maintained, and the food quality is high."

"It’s a beautiful place to stay with decent amenities. But do note, there’s only one bus line to get there, so it’s not convenient unless you are driving. Resort is cleaned daily. Self-check in was a little confusing, as there is no staff manning the area at night. But staff was very responsive by email. There was a group of travellers who were very noisy (shouting across the house) and did not use the onsen in the proper way, making it dirty."
