"The room was a good size. Although it was on a lower floor, it still had a little view of the sea. It was also very close to Hitachi Station. I didn't use the breakfast so I don't know much about it."

"The staff were very helpful, accommodated me on everything (Im deaf) single room queen size bed, clean bathroom, had everything i needed to prepare for my marathon. Can leave your bags with them and they will give you # chips to return and pick up your bags later which is what I did after I finished my marathon and returned to the hotel. Then I went back to tokyo but im thinking I should've gotten one more night in hitachi because the city is beautiful and the food is good.only 2 photos were taken from inside my hotel room facing out the big building and the sumo on tv."

"The hotel room was an orthodox Japanese-style room. It was well-cleaned. For dinner, we had monkfish hotpot in the restaurant in the separate building. As you would expect from authentic monkfish, it was delicious. The young proprietress gave us a concise explanation of the different parts of the fish, and prepared them efficiently, which made the meal even more delicious. The next day's breakfast was a sumptuous one, complete with ozoni (traditional Japanese soup), as it was New Year's Day. I would definitely like to return if I have the opportunity."
