"The staff were very helpful, accommodated me on everything (Im deaf) single room queen size bed, clean bathroom, had everything i needed to prepare for my marathon. Can leave your bags with them and they will give you # chips to return and pick up your bags later which is what I did after I finished my marathon and returned to the hotel. Then I went back to tokyo but im thinking I should've gotten one more night in hitachi because the city is beautiful and the food is good.only 2 photos were taken from inside my hotel room facing out the big building and the sumo on tv."

"We booked this hotel for a nearby tournament. It was very large and spacious, with its own public bath on the third floor. We booked a Japanese-style room. The view from the window was of the sea and the harbor. There were also several tennis courts downstairs, but play ended around 9:30 pm. We left very early the next day, and the hotel had staff available to handle check-out. The parking lot was large. It was a great spot to watch the sunrise."

But on the day of the race, they offered complimentary shower facilities for guests who had already checked out, which saved me 2000 yen! The only downside was a slight urine smell in the room's toilet... otherwise, everything else was great. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm here for a run!"

Although the location wasn't the most convenient, the hotel was very quiet at night, and the blankets and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. "The hotel room was an orthodox Japanese-style room. It was well-cleaned. For dinner, we had monkfish hotpot in the restaurant in the separate building. As you would expect from authentic monkfish, it was delicious. The young proprietress gave us a concise explanation of the different parts of the fish, and prepared them efficiently, which made the meal even more delicious. The next day's breakfast was a sumptuous one, complete with ozoni (traditional Japanese soup), as it was New Year's Day. I would definitely like to return if I have the opportunity."
