My booking for these two nights showed breakfast included, but she mentioned there was no cafeteria, so she personally took me to a nearby restaurant on her motorcycle and paid for it with her own money. "The hotel is located on the pedestrian street, perfect for evening strolls. Getting around by taxi or motorbike is also convenient, as the distances aren't too far. The included breakfast wasn't very good for my taste. Rooms without windows have a slight air conditioning smell upon arrival, making them a bit musty."

"New, beautiful room, strong hot water pressure. Check-in was at 2 PM, but we arrived at 7 AM and left our luggage at the hotel before going up to the 7th floor to do our makeup. The receptionist was super friendly and even lent us a deck of cards to play. Location is very close to the Old Quarter, just a few steps away. 10/10 experience here."

"One of the best places I stayed in Vietnam. It was so welcoming and comfortable. The host was obviously waiting up for me, because as soon as I walked in he jumped up and called me by name! He made sure I had everything and let me settle in and get a good night's sleep. The most annoying aspect was that the fridge would turn off if you left the room, so it was useless for keeping water cold so you had something to come back to. And for some reason there were no towels supplied. The breakfast was simple and enjoyable. There was a small selection, and I was provided with a lovely omelette banh mi and a great Vietnamese coffee. They were kind enough to mind my bag while I explored, and I returned for a drink afterwards. This was a little on the pricey side. Overall, though, this was a great place to stay at a great price, and I am so glad I chose it. If my visit had not coincided with a heatwave it would have been walking distance to Trang An, but as it was over 40, the half hour walk was just too much. A Grab was easy to book from here though, and it took barely three minutes."

The breakfast was really good and we got a lot of tips about what to do with our time."

"An’s Eco garden is a relaxing, oasis, with adorable cabins, beautiful grounds, and excellent service. The cabins are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is fresh, with a lot of choices; fresh fruit, soup, farm fresh eggs, ramen, rice, rolls, buns, coffee and tea. The staff is wonderful and very service oriented. Anything we asked for, they delivered. It is away from the city, but a Grab, cab or scooter are easily available. We arranged a private tour through the hotel with an English speaking guide. Mua mountain is a great hike/climb and Lotus Lake is a beautiful stroll. Well worth the visit. The boat ride on the river with a rower, through the tunnels was beautiful with canyons, Karsts, and caves."
