While the room facilities showed some age, they were generally complete, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk staff were simple and incredibly warm-hearted, making for an excellent experience. The surrounding area offers expansive views, perfect for enjoying the sunset in the evening with a pleasant breeze. It's an ideal choice for both self-driving tours and group travel, offering both unique character and comfort – truly a superb accommodation option for a trip to Inner Mongolia."

"This hotel was the unexpected highlight of our trip to Hohhot for an exhibition! Before arriving, I was trying to find a hotel closest to the museum and only found the Garden Hotel across the street. But when we got there by taxi, my mom noticed the Intercity Hotel right on the museum side. It looked new, so we were a bit hesitant, worried about the smell of fresh renovations. The lovely lady at the front desk was so accommodating; she suggested we go upstairs to check out a room, assuring us we could get a refund if we weren't happy. We headed up to the 11th floor, but realized that particular room had a security door and was on the same floor as the restaurant, which wasn't ideal. Luckily, we ran into the rooms manager, a very handsome gentleman. He quickly found another identical room on the 9th floor that had just been cleaned but hadn't been checked yet. He asked if we could wait a little in the lobby while it was prepared, as it would be more convenient for my mom. We were thrilled and went down to complete the check-in process before heading off to the exhibition. When we returned, the manager even gave us thoughtful dinner recommendations, and my mom and I had a wonderful meal. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with all sorts of Hohhot local specialties to try. The restaurant staff, both the men and women, were also very attentive and went out of their way to meet our needs, even cooking us a bowl of greens and baking my homemade cheese flatbread. After breakfast, we went back to the exhibition. When we were checking out, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully offered us a late check-out, suggesting that if my elderly mom got tired from the exhibition, she could come back and rest. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hohhot!"

I don't understand why she prioritized her own matters before a customer had even left. If she was busy, she shouldn't have been at the front desk. It's truly infuriating. The hotel facilities are already old, delivery drivers can freely go upstairs, and the front desk is like this. Oh, and by the way, there were many people at the front desk discussing things at the time, and the person who was supposed to be helping me seemed to be just joining in the gossip."

"The trip was rushed and I didn't have time to take photos. This local business reception hotel experience was poor. First: the service felt very average, unenthusiastic, and the staff seemed small. Second: In the past, local business reception hotels should have better sound insulation. The overnight stay at Xincheng Hotel was poor. At 10 pm, I could still hear parents quarreling with their children crying, and the sound of doors closing could be heard clearly in the room. Third: the water in the bathroom was not stable at all. It took a long time to run the water for the water temperature to rise after taking a shower. The overall experience was very bad. This trip was not a special offer room. Alas, I will not consider Xincheng Hotel again."

"This time, our family came to Hohhot for Zhou Shen's concert. There's so much I want to say, and I hope everyone who sees this reads it through. The hotel's free airport transfer was incredibly thoughtful, and the parking was super convenient, right downstairs. It's also very close to the train station. The hotel's facilities, service, and cleanliness were all excellent. But the most important thing I want to talk about is this: due to my own carelessness, I lost two gold ornaments. The moment I contacted the hotel staff, they immediately started helping me search, first in the room, and then meticulously sifting through the hotel's trash collection area. Eventually, they found my items! The hotel's policy of not immediately clearing the day's trash is truly, truly well-managed. Throughout my communication with the hotel, the staff also took my feelings into account and kept comforting me. This was entirely my fault, but the hotel staff's patience and responsibility made me feel incredibly warm and reassured. I don't know their names, but I want to sincerely thank the hotel manager, the housekeeping staff, and the staff who helped me search through the trash. This was my first time in Hohhot, and if you're looking for a hotel or coming to visit Hohhot, I highly recommend choosing this hotel. I believe a hotel with such a dedicated, responsible, and unconditionally helpful team will surely make your trip worthwhile. Thank you, thank you to everyone."

"Pros: 1) Separate floors for women and men; this floor is exclusively for women, which felt very safe. 2) The room was relatively quiet, and the owner provided guidelines, including a rule against using hair dryers after 11 PM (though someone still used one that night – there's always a bad apple). 3) Slippers were provided at the entrance, and the bunk also had a towel and disposable toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. 4) The owner also provided detailed photo and text directions via WeChat, making the hostel easy to find. Cons: 1) The bathroom was directly across from the six-bed dorm room (the yellow curtain in picture 1 shows the dorm on the left and the bathroom on the right). The bathroom doesn't have a main door, so whenever someone used it, the flushing sound was clearly audible in the two adjacent rooms. I heard intermittent flushing at past 1 AM, and even heard my bunkmate sigh. (Obviously, you can't restrict bathroom use, but the owner could consider improving soundproofing.) 2) As soon as I opened my room door in the morning, I smelled a strong odor from the bathroom across the hall. It was quite off-putting (again, likely due to the bathroom lacking a main door). 3) The shower room also doesn't have a main door and is right next to another room. If someone showers late at night, the splashing can be quite noisy."

"Traveling solo, I arrived too late at the Inner Mongolia Museum to even glance around, so I booked another night to rest. The guesthouse is more of an apartment-style stay. The actual hotel is through a glass door next to where you check in, then you take an elevator to your floor. (The property security is to the right as you enter.) I found the hygiene to be quite average; I even saw a cockroach after waking up in the middle of the night. The facilities are complete with air conditioning, a washing machine, and a refrigerator. There's a water heater for showers, but the water turns cold after a while, so you need to mind your shower time. There were some construction materials piled up outside the door of my room, causing a slight odor."
