"Enjoy the mountains at dawn and dusk, linger in Huizhou's landscapes." Hongcun Shanju Xiaoyin Hezetang is located in Hongcun, an ancient village inscribed on the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List, opening an immersive Huizhou vacation experience for you.
The guesthouse houses a well-preserved old private school from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The newly-built courtyards take traditional Huizhou-style architecture as the core, integrate ingenious modern design elements, and every brick and tile embodies craftsmanship—creating an accommodation space that combines ancient charm with comfort. As a manor-style guesthouse focusing on wellness and vacation, it always takes "high-quality leisure experience" as its core, allowing every guest to relieve tiredness and return to their inner peace.
Surrounded by lush lotus flowers reflecting green hues and thriving vegetation, the fresh air lingers around, making you feel as if you are in a natural oxygen bar. You can stroll along the slate paths from the Ming and Qing dynasties shaded by lotus flowers, touching the years of the ancient village through the lines on the blue slates; you can also sit quietly in the courtyard, holding a pot of Huizhou fragrant tea, listening to the gurgling of spring water and the chirping of birds, and embracing the gifts of nature in tranquility.
In addition, the guesthouse carefully prepares a variety of wellness activities: participate in interest-based flower arrangement to soothe your body and mind among flowers and plants; experience traditional incense art, make custom incense plaques and sachets with your own hands, and feel the elegance of oriental culture. In terms of catering, it focuses on authentic Huizhou cuisine made with organic wild ingredients. From ingredients to taste, it fully presents the original ecological charm of Huizhou cuisine culture, allowing you to understand the warmth of Huizhou's daily life while savoring the food.
"The service was great and the family was very kind. The garden, rooms and buildings were beautiful and very charming. The B&B dog was very cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to explore the B&B and pet the dog as much as we wanted, since we spend most time at the nearby attractions! Both lunch, dinner and breakfast was great and the menu seemed to include a lot of delicious traditional Anhui cuisine. We had the stinky fish and braised chicken for dinner and it was absolutely amazing and interesting to try a different Chinese kitchen. We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend staying here!"
