"I've never given a bad review, even during the ***** New Year, but this place is genuinely awful. I'm being completely honest here. I originally wanted to support Jilin's tourism, and I'd been to scenic spots with NPCs in Kaifeng before. I also thought this hotel, being inside the scenic area, would be convenient for my elderly parents and kids. First off, the shuttle driver was very responsible and enthusiastic, helping with our bags. Standard check-in is at 2 PM, but when we arrived at 3:30 PM, the room they gave me hadn't been cleaned – there were bath towels all over the floor and everything. I found a staff member myself, who said they'd have it cleaned right away and asked us to wait. But I saw on Ctrip that there were several other rooms of the same type available, so shouldn't they have just given us another room of the same type? Eventually, at my suggestion, they did. Later, because it's a scenic area, all music was supposed to be off by 10 PM. However, at 11:30 PM, the entertainment department was still rehearsing, playing music at a normal, loud volume. My elderly parents and child couldn't sleep at all. I contacted a server, who told me to contact the manager. I said I couldn't stay there, it was too noisy, and my child still wasn't asleep almost at midnight. He then said it was too late, told me to rest, and that he'd discuss compensation at a meeting the next day. The next day at 8 AM, we went for breakfast, and there was hardly anything available. The restaurant staff were angrily on the phone, complaining about why the group chat reported 40+ people when there were more guests than that, and how they were supposed to cook, etc. What does that have to do with us paying guests? At 11 AM, I proactively contacted the manager again. He said he was off duty and had told another manager, but no one contacted me. I had originally booked for two nights, but I resolutely left and went to the Garden Hotel. Then I contacted Ctrip to handle the issue. The 'compensation' they told Ctrip they would offer was some 'silver tickets' for attractions in the scenic area, which is frankly ridiculous. It's been two days, and they still haven't apologized. Honestly, I will never come to Hunchun again."

"The rooms were spacious, and there were plenty of parking spaces downstairs. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and even brought water when I left. There's a laundry room on the second floor. However, there were quite a few issues: Service-wise, the housekeeping didn't make the beds the second night, although they replaced the bedding. The disposable slippers were almost leaking after one night and weren't replaced the next day. Facilities-wise, the curtains were broken, the towel rack in the bathroom was missing, and the elevator was slow and inconvenient to wait for. The bathroom had a strong odor. The soundproofing was poor; I could hear the neighbors watching TV and talking, but the windows were well-insulated, so I slept well despite the noise from the morning market downstairs. Cleanliness-wise, the sheets had stains, and the toilets in both rooms I booked were quite dirty; I spent a lot of time cleaning them myself. Breakfast was okay, but they didn't replenish much each time. They didn't proactively give me a breakfast voucher for the next day; I had to get it from the front desk myself. The location is decent, about a 15-minute walk from the seafood street. It's about an hour's drive to Fangchuan Scenic Area. The morning market downstairs has a good variety of fruits, which is a good place to stock up."

"I had booked a windowless room, but unfortunately, the room had a strong smell from the recent renovations, so we were moved to a children's room. The service was very satisfactory. The hotel bed was huge; it's rare to find such a large bed in a hotel. It's about a 7-minute walk to Wastock amusement park, requiring crossing a bridge. Taxis are not readily available nearby, as it's a bit far from the city center. There's not much to see or do nearby. I recommend the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel; their sweet and sour pork is incredibly delicious. Best of all, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the train station, which is a huge plus. The manager even drove himself; his driving skills were excellent, and his service was great. However, the shuttle departs on the hour; if there are fewer passengers, you can discuss it with the front desk. I rarely write hotel reviews, but this one was truly excellent. The amusement park shuttle service would have been even better."

The hotel provides free tickets to the science museum. It is very meaningful to learn about tigers and leopards, wild protected animals. The only drawback is that the room does not have a telephone, so it is inconvenient to call the front desk. It is about 8 kilometers away from Hunchun City and takes 15 minutes by car. It is recommended that the residual glue on the corners of the floor during room decoration be cleaned up to improve customer satisfaction. The breakfast variety is okay.
