"Otel otoyol kavşağından çok uzakta değil. Büyük bir ücretsiz otopark bulunmaktadır. Oda çok temiz ve sessizdi. Restoran iyi, yemekler sağlıklı ve lezzetli. Kahvaltı tipik bir İngiliz kahvaltısıdır. Servis de iyidir."

"Beautiful location, hotel and breakfast was good. We arrived at hotel and couldn’t check in until after lunch, left our case at reception and went out. We returned to the hotel at 2100hrs, got the key to the room which was freezing. -1 outside and all heating was switched off, the room was so cold. You would like to think that someone would have known we had not checked in yet and put some heating on. Huge let down for a 4* star hotel. Would have took someone 2 mins and would changed our whole experience. Hope the hotel reads this and learns for the next paying visitor."

"Excellent stay. The hotel is ideally located if arriving by train. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a roomy walk in shower. The only thing that would have improved it would have been some drawer space as it only has hanging space in the wardrobe. All the staff were helpfull and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay and both were excellent. We also made use of the leisure facilties during our stay. Overall would highly recommend and if we visit York again would definitely stay at The Milner."

"A very convenient location located within the city centre of York. There are numerous bus stops just located within 3 mins of walking making it very easy to travel to rail station or designer outlet. Moreover, there are numerous groceries such as saintsbury, Tesco and M&S foods. 10mins walk to York minister. It comes with complementary breakfast as well and it has many varieties and delicious. From the room you can overlook the Clifford castle as well."

"Otel güzel bir konumdaydı. Verimli bir hizmete sahipti. Odalar halıların biraz yenilenmesinden faydalanabilir ve kirişler tozluydu. Kaldığımız odada kullanımı rahat olan ortak bir banyo vardı ancak halı kaplı ve pek hijyenik olmayan birkaç merdivenden aşağı inmek gerekiyordu. Yangın alarmı sabah 6'da çaldı ve sahibinin müdahale edip kontrol etmesi 7 dakika sürdü. Bundan sonra dinlenmek için odalarımıza dönebildik. Otel, York'un merkezine 35 dakika yürüme mesafesinde, güzel bir günde harika."

"On the surface, this cozy place is probably a good bet for a stay in York. It's just enough outside of the city center to avoid all the tourists, but close enough to walk right in. The reservation process was great and the price is good. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel and, in many senses, it lives up to that status. The staff is excellent. The food and coffee is very good and everyone is very attentive. The rooms are immaculate (heated bathroom floors are amazing!) and the amenities are great. That all said, there are some issues . Often the staff cleans the front area in the middle of the afternoon, which is a rather inconvenient time to clean as it is disruptive to the guests. Though the summer would be different, it was in the low 40's when we were there and heating in the lobby doesn't seem to be a priority for the hotel. We had to have someone set up a space heater for us in the tea room so we could stay warm, which was a bad look (tacky) for them. The biggest issue, however, we that they held a wedding event on the second say we were there. While it's completely understandable for hotels to host events, this particular location is ill suited to do so given the noise level of the event and the small quarters of the hotel. They had a live band, which sent the music to most of the rooms, making sleeping nearly impossible. Though they did move our room, we still heard the band, who played until almost midnight. Having a bunch of wedding guests being loud all lover the hotel also didn't help. The staff agreed with my assessment, which was to either not have events at all or, if they do, block out the rooms from being rented since it is impossible to merge the hotel with an event space. it's just too small. Ultimately, they need to make a decision about who they are as a brand, event space or 4 star hotel. I'd pitch they choose hotel because that is what it really is."
