"Last minute one-night stay while visiting a family member in nearby Ipswich hospital. I had a small double room with everything you could possibly need, very comfortable bed, good shower, excellent wifi, small fridge & microwave, tea/coffee, etc, and very clean and quiet. Sainsbury's Local opposite, and plenty eating options nearby. Above all, as a lone female I felt very safe. I did not have time/need to use the shared facilities, but it all looked great, especially having a washer/dryer in the kitchen if you were staying several nights. Would not hesitate to stay again."

"Good location, was able to check bags in a little earlier than 3pm with helped us out LOADS! Room was nice, had air con which was fantastic as was a very hot day. Only thing I can fault is that it was a family room (which we needed) but the beds was quiet high my youngest is 3 & he fell out the bed in the night & hurt himself. Could do with those side rails that you can slip under the mattress to stop the kids from falling out. Partfrom that couldn’t really fault them. Oh also, it’s was LOVELY AND QUIET the whole time we was there, which made the trip as when you’ve had a busy day out and about the last thing you want is to be able to hear everybody else. But there was NO EXTERNAL NOISE!"

"We have been doing our motorcycle training here in Ipswich so have stayed at the Novotel for two weekends now. The staff have been so friendly and accommodating - we’ve really enjoyed the stay. Having a bath in the room has also been a treat. The rooms are well maintained, clean and very comfortable. We’ve enjoyed the pool table and the bar. We’re looking forward to coming back again. The hotel is also very conveniently located."

"It's about 10mins away from train station walking, Clean, nice views if in selected rooms. No one explained about the gym or restaurant so we ask other customers. They said they needed i.d but didn't say this when I had booked it. But I would say this is like a upgraded travel lodge. We will be back to try the food out as didn't know about this before like mentioned. Good location for places like dance east or football"
